CanucksHockey11
To Vancouver: Mike Ribeiro Conditional 1st round pick 2013 (If the Canucks don't resign Ribeiro) Michal Neuvirth To Washington: Roberto Luongo 2013 2nd Rounder Don't even know if the Capitals are still interested in acquiring a goaltender. If they are I think this is a fair deal. SInce Luongo's value is down. IMO don't resign Riberio, (If the Caps fail to miss the playoffs, as they will have a Top 14 pick)
Patrick Jane
Washington will go with there young goalies instead.......
DownUndaCanuck
Seems pretty fair but I doubt it happens. Ribiero has been the Capitals best player so far, definately their MVP. If they're making a dash for the playoffs he's untouchable.
brewdog
Even with the conditional 1st, it would hurt to trade Lu and see Ribeiro walk in the summer. Canuck prospects seem to sit in the farm for years, so it would feel like Lu was traded for nothing while the team's core gets older. I think Holtby has played well enough lately to earn another chance at #1 status in Washington next year. It's a nice trade. There's some good thought put into it.
