Crosby Leaves The Ice After Taking A Puck To The Face

102 posts in this topic

Horrible....hope he'll be ok....deflected(?) slapshot from the point. Has not returned to the ice after leaving. Down for a sec, but skated off on his own (with training staff) with a towel full of blood.

No updates yet....after his concussion history, this could be bad. Will update (game is just about to go into the second)....

They showed a montage after he left. It's the 3rd game he's left vs the Islanders after taking a puck to the face.

Where did it hit him? Hopefully not in the eye (I know he wears a visor, but at the right angle it could ride up behind the visor).

I wonder if this is an act of the cruel hockey gods.

Hope it's not too serious, was it anywhere near the eye?

Going back & forth between the Pens and the Philly game....love when Boston's losing (currently 2-0)

Hope he's alright. Don't wish a puck to the face to anyone.
