tkoisthx
Lack of depth due to injuries. Too much invested in a D corps that is severely under performing for the most part. A lot of players who only seem to score in streaks (Raymond, Higgins, Hansen). Daniel not playing very well - not shooting and trying to be far too cute with the puck at times. Too much play around the boards on PP. Gets a little better with Kesler back, but need another top 9 player AT LEAST, or we're going to get stomped by Chicago if we make the second round. James van Riemsdyk
Lol at the idea that kassian booth and ballard being injured is a key reason.. Because these players have provided so much offense while playing this year right? Lol this forum is too funny. Im not convinced that even Kes coming back right now would make much of a difference.. is he gonna score three goals a game on a night like tonight? Why cant some of you just deal with the fact that this team is playing lazy uninspired hockey? Why not call it as it is instead of dreaming up excuses? The pp is in a coma, the defence has been brutal all season and the canucks cant seem to play a full game start to finish.. what does that have to do with kesler or any other player being injured? Do these excuses allow a pass to all the other players on the ice or to av? Come ON

TimberWolf
Our team is solved. Every team has read the book on us and we refuse to adjust.
canucksnhl
Hopefully they're just saving their energy for the playoffs... Pretty much all one goal games during the winning streak. We used to run away with games just a couple years ago. Regular Season: Under sell Playoffs: Over deliver We need our injured Americans back! Tortorella's Rant
Sedins are on the decline. They're only going to get worse. Sorry CDC, that's how it is. Burrows' offensive game is largely due to the Sedins. Because of their declining production, he's been less of an offensive force. It's not a big drop off, but a drop off none the less. Only on pace for about 20 goals as opposed to his usual 25-30 range. Edler can't seem to step up his offensive game. It's been dwelling in the 40-50 point range for five seasons now. We basically have no second line. ... I can see why the offense sucks. But there's other alarming factors we should be worried about that have nothing to do with offense. jag
kesler would help. When Malhotra was first here we were unbeatabe literally. That was the best canucks team ive ever seen but ofcourse him being gone had a huge effect even though we still made the finals. Lost erhoff a pp guy. Lost hodgeson our clutch second pp guy. Lost salo added garison who cant hit the net. Added booth who knows how to lose and get injured. Added sestito who loses every fight and cant play. Sedins have no support. Falling apart dont know if mg or av had more influence on those latest moves. Maybe it is what it is like bert said.
Duodenum
Remember when our dmen would pinch in on the PP and the Sedins would constantly rotate and find the backdoor play? Remember when our PP had a net presence? Neither do I.
riffraff
Streaky second line. Predictable top line and rediculously predictable power play. A defense that sucks at defense and is forced to deal with that issue first. No Erhoff and no salo - directly effects the above two points....I'm sorry but JaGarr seems nice and all but he can't hit the net.

shazzam
- Our 2nd line center has been out pretty much the entire season. - This team still doesn't have a third line center - Losing offense from the backend - At puck moving and from the point --- Ehrhoff --- Salo
surtur
No offense but you can't put kassian with kesler or booth. Kassian is totally not NHL material especially as a forward.

Moonshinefe
One of the lowest (THE lowest, last time I checked) PP opportunities in the league combined with our PP absolutely sucking when we do get chances, in my opinion, is the biggest difference this season for us. All those games we lost by 1-2 goals but had multiple chances on the PP to get back in the game and potentially win? We probably threw 3-5 games down the tubes just from that, and that's 6-10 pts and us being comfortably in the divisional lead at this point. Pouria
Pinizzotto, Ebbett, Sestito, Weise, Kassian, Gordon, Lapierre, Ballard, Alberts.... Usually you only want a few of these type of guys on your team. We've got two full lines devoid of talent.

FinishEveryCheck
The heart of a canuck eh ? U got to go the dirty areas and guys like ebbet,Gordon, Raymond , the Sedins , etc.... Just a bunch of perimeter play with the Sedins trying to make hilight reel goals. If u think this is bad now wait until the first round. Only prayer is if gillis adds 2-3 pieces within the next 72 hours.
VancityBeast
he was one of the best forwards for the 1st 1/4 of the season it isn't his fault he gets demoted when scoring more goals then anyone else on the team.
