Gross-Misconduct
He's probably going down to get decent ice time to make sure his back is 100%. Everyone chill out.
Peter Gunn
Just a thought, but if Kassian was cleared to play by the doctors but continues to say he's not ready to play as has been reported in the media, then perhaps he was sent down to Chicago not on a conditioning stint, but instead to make room for someone who is ready to play. If Kassian feels he's not ready to play then let that be in the minors.
Baggins
Did u even watch the 6 in a row ? My god they should have lost 3 of those games easy. This team hasn't been able to produce offense for years now.
Steven Stamkos
Why do you think they are calling up those playersm (and sending others down) ???? Because we are playing well???
rkyway
"this year they have struggled to score with an AHL lineup most of the year.'' - I'm not aware we've had more injuries than the average team... certainly nothing as bad as Ottawa. Apart from Kesler, the top six forwards have been in the lineup all year. - a main reason the scoring has dried up is only one good play making center. (Loss of Salo and his passing ability also hurts.) - see this basically as conditioning... though I don't think Kassian is NHL ready at this point. Apricot
So, I just wanna get this straight. Kassian gets sent down because the entire team sucked last night though he didn't even play. Really?? Really???
canucks.brad
should have happened a long time ago...kassian was not performing. was only here to save the face of MG, but he is not ready...

FinishEveryCheck
not sure if you are serious, but you are seriously delusional. this year they have struggled to score with an AHL lineup most of the year. We sit 20th in goals for. last year we were 5th year before we were 1st yes we have struggled "for years" to score goals.
etsen3
Honestly this was a bit overdue. He hasn't had a point in how long now...send him down, let him get in shape after sitting out, regain some confidence, and bring him up. It seemed to work for Schroeder. He wasn't TERRIBLE but he could use a confidence boost.
Darkstar
Hopefully this is more than just a conditioning stint. He needs to wake up.
