Where's Wellwood
Per the Vancouver Canucks Facebook. Vancouver Canucks President & General Manager Michael D. Gillis announced today that the Canucks have recalled left wings Nicklas Jensen and Bill Sweatt. The Canucks have also re-assigned forwards Zack Kassian and Andrew Gordon. Armada
Excited. But lets not play him over 9 games or 5? Whatever the number of games it is before take away his Entry level.

Tanev's Smirk
AV will most likely only use him on the 4th line though.
Pablo
So excited to see what this kid can do. Hope AV doesn't put him on the forth line
Jaimito
Nice to see what he can do. the solution to nux prob is their top players and D core. This just adds depth if he can make NHL this season. I hope he does.
Steve Carell
...how does this mean we're desperate? I like the call-up. Let's see what Jensen and Sweatt can do.
CrazyAL
They sent Kassian down? I guess Jensen gets his spot on the forth line

Goliath
I guess they might as well give those 2 some experience with the big club. I don't see them being any worse then Kassian/Gordon. Time to see what Jensen can do. Ideally everyone would love for him to come in and produce offense like he is capable of. Wonder what the line combos will be. They should def try Jensen on the pp unit though. Who knows maybe he comes in and plays lights out and stays up for the rest of the seaon.

Where's Wellwood
The question is, is this just a look to see how he'd be at the NHL level, or are we going to use all of his 5 games he can play without burning a year off his ELC? Gillis would be stupid to burn a year off his ELC. Not worth it.

El_Capitan
Didn't Gillis make some comment earlier this year than Jensen would not play with the Canucks. That they wanted him to get accustomed to the AHL game or something. I don't think Jensen's ready. But I don't watch Wolves games so I don't know how he's playing in Chicago. It just seems too early. PlayStation
Throw him into the top 6, worth a shot, give the kid an actual chance to show what he's got. Cant play any worse than most of are players are playing. Hell I'd put him with the Sedins.
oldnews
have a look at how many guys the Canucks called up in 2010/11, the franchise's best season. I like the fact guys are getting stints up here - it's good for the morale of the organization. and don't jump to conclusions regarding Kassian - his conditioning stint with the Wolves has nothing to do with his play, which has been solid, NHL quality - his underlying numbers are very good, particularly for a rookie.
