To win a Stanley Cup it starts with the management team and goes from there.

It looks like the Ducks have put it together again and could at the very least get out of the west, with a great chance of winning the cup for the second time.

Does anyone really believe this team has even a remote chance with this line up and management group to win a cup anytime soon?

In all seriousness , we could have easily had bozak before season started . henrik , ryan , and tyler

would be awesome 123, but now there is not a chance we get bozak, is i was gillis i would say toronto , all we want is bozak, forget damn pick or prospect .

if this lingers into summer , Aquillinies will be so sick of gillis's act so will everyone and a team like philly will just buy out bryz and go get smith or something . this mess should have been finished MONTHS AGO.

and watch gillis make 1 move if that on deadline day ,

Im at a loss for words right now , either gillis will be gone , unless he bucks up and makes some bold a** moves

ps , no need for dumb sarcastic messages

Easy to be the constant critic, I am new here (newbie), but no newbie to life, guys like you are a dime a dozen.

Never putting your neck out for fear of having it chopped off, having been here such a short time, I haven't had a real chance to read into your history, I will definitely have to educate myself, perhaps in those 12,000 posts there is something other than the facetious rhetoric, that you have shown in my short time here.

Kid's a fan, asked a question, who deemed you to be judge and jury of what is good or bad?

I don't think there's much MG can do. Either he goes full blown in this season and trades Jensen and our 1st for some legit scorers and if that doesn't pan out your looking at rebuild time. OR he does the usual minor tinkering, hopes for the best. When we go out early the coaching staff will likely be gone next year, the roster gets built out with rookies and you have what could be called a "transition year" waiting/hoping for the cap to rise significantly for the 2014/15 season.

If u think this team of undersized heartless AHLers will flip a switch come

Playoff time and turn it around then you might be the biggest fanboy on this site.

MG has 48 hours left to save the season and his job. Get er done MG. 2-3 pieces needed and were not talking pahson and gagnagni

I pause in awe at the Canuck managaments move to protect Pinizzotto and sacrifice Volpati

Maybe this team should try and lure some proven scouts out of succesful organizations or maybe look in their own back yard at the Giants for players.

It seems like at this moment the window for this group is gone. Injuries aren't helping either.

I think at this time, Jensen will be on the team to help us insure a playoff position. He will stay on the team the max amount he can without wiping away his ELC, and Kassian will come up to replace him when that happens.

At playoffs start, Jensen will probably be on the team with Kassian.

If we could trade all players(& recent history) with the Bruins, would you? Like colin campbell's son getting the calls; causing broken backs; conduct unpenalized like TBay gm7, or Chara's hit on Pacc. Would you accept such garbage just to get that Cup? Sorry, I wouldn't.

Sure this team has holes, flaws, needs, etc...But for the most part, I think they've a collection of pretty good, character people. I've really enjoyed watching(entertainment-value) over most of the past half-decade. If this team ever wins it all, it will be amazing-but I hope they keep acquiring stand-up guys like Maholtra, Hamhuis, et al...

Biggest complaint I would throw Gillis' way would be AV-but I'll save that for another time...
