Kack Zassian
Vancouver Matt Stajan (@ 1/2 salary, so 1.75 this year and next) Calgary 2nd Round Pick (For Stajan) Conditional 4th Round Pick (For the salary, becomes a 3rd if Van makes it to conf. finals) Van gets their 3C, on an affordable contract for next year. Calgary gets a couple picks going into this years deep draft.

Smashian Kassian
I've kinda though about this, at reduced salary sure, I don't know if he is worth a 2nd though or not.

Ilya Mikheyev
I dig it. What I like best is that he's put up fine point totals with basically no PP time. What worries me is he is at 46% on the dot, however he has taken the most faceoffs for CGY so that says something. I wonder if the Canucks in this deal would be better off taking 2.25-2.5 of the cap hit in exchange for a 3rd + 5th. That seems more fair to me, but of course it is impossible to make a 'perfect' proposal. Good thinkin'.
