Erik Karlsson
No he just demanded more minutes on a team with a Selke and Art Ross winner. Much less arrogant
Patrick Kane
Which he deserved with Kesler stinking it up. He scored more clutch goals on our team that year then anyone.

Amish Rake Fighter
If Cody's giant head didn't ask for a trade, then why didn't he emphatically deny it like any rational human would, when he had the chance on national TV ? All he had to say was no, but he didn't . That interview was the point where I knew for sure and no amount of wishful thinking will change that

DownUndaCanuck
With the Roy acquisition, MG now looks like a genius for letting Cody go. We replace one point-per-game producer with another in Roy, but Roy can actually kill penalties and play solid defence. Plus, he's got some playoff scoring experience. Now we have a big physical Kassian to boot. Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Raymond - Kesler - Kassian Higgins - Roy - Hansen Weise - Lapierre - Sestito is far better than Sedin - Sedin - Burrows Booth - Kesler - Higgins Hansen - Hodgson - Raymond Bitz - Lapierre - Malhotra
freebass
so you rather him out right and say no he didn't demand a trade when MG almost basically said he asked for a trade? if he seriously outright said he didn't ask for a trade then it'll look bad on the organization and MG... for hinting he asked to be traded out... btw since when does Hodgson's dad = Hodgson?? so what if he complained to his dad he didn't get enough ice time? ppl complain to their family all the time when things don't go their way.. it's not like he walked up to MG or AV and said I DEMAND FOR MORE ICETIME... it's his dad that's doing all the complaining.. that's like Schneider's agent earlier complaining about playing time.. who cares? it's not Schneider himself doing the complaining ~~~@~

avelanch
roy > hodgson for the tine being. watching roy he makes his line mates better. Coho was doing well before vanek hit his yearly slump and pomonville was traded. He's a product of his team.
aqua59
Imagine you had an extremely overbearing parent who would show up at your job and constantly complain to your boss that you didn't get a promotion even though you've only worked there a year, and your boss says "well at this company we earn our promotions through hard work and dedication not entitlement" Yet your father wont let it go and now it's starting to effect the other workers moral. And keep in mind you are not some 16 year old working at McDonalds but a 21 year old man.........You cut the cancer out before it spreads and respect is earned. aqua59
Why would he care about making the Canucks look bad after they trade him, when people make up rumours about you (as you're claiming Gillis did) do you just accept it or would you deny it? terrible.dee
I think the frustrating part for me isn't the Cody Hodgson trade for Kassian, it's the fans that just can't seem to get it. Kassians development is coming along fine
