Raspberries
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie8m Mason Raymond not on ice with VAN today because he's a little banged up. I do not believe it is trade related altho Raymond's name out there
LionofJudah
Higgins - Burrows - Hansen is an okay second line with Jensen with the Sedins. Bottom six could be worse, too.
theo5789
Think about it this way, if we had a healthy line-up, our younger guys would never get a chance to have some time with the big club. Now they are getting an opportunity to at least get a taste. We are still in a playoff spot and AV is still helping us find ways to win with the current situation. This is good for development and it isn't hurting us too much and we will be getting players back rested for a playoff run. I rather we barely make the playoffs anyway and have a better draft pick as well.
Master Mind
Is it related to his back?
RUPERTKBD
All this angst over a Raymond injury makes me laugh. Last season, this board would have been flooded with "no big loss" and "good riddance" comments. HorseGem2007
Either April's fool joke or Trade coming up ? not sure which one of those 2 i would prefer
Everybody Hates Raymond
Farhan Lalji @FarhanLaljiTSN47s Raymond will not play tonight. Sore shoulder. Day to day. #canucks This reeks of something else. Overperforming UFA magically gets hurt "day-today" before the deadline? Hmm...

Cobra!
Fire the damn training/medical staff. Year after year we're among the league leaders in man games lost to injury, and year after year we have players come back from injury too soon and reaggravating whatever injury they had. Enough is enough. This is unacceptable. No wonder big names don't sign here. No wonder Coho wanted out. This is on you, Gillis. Make the appropriate adjustments. Stop settling for mediocrity. lmm
Why is it the training/medical staff's fault? It was expected that with a condenced schedule that injuries were bound to happen this year. Playing 4-5 games each week doesn't exactly say mercy on the body. Players play more often and are bound to get injured. Every team goes through their fair share and we are as well...just look at Ottawa (no Spezza, no karlsson, no Anderson, no Michalek, no Cowen) and they are still winning. Its not the training staff or anyone forcing players back in too early, every player has a say whether they want to comeback in or not, if they feel good its up to them whether they are ready, so really you can blame the stupidity of players rushing too quickly themselves wanting to play over being smart and letting their injuries heal first properly. Hodgson wanted out because he wasn't getting ice time he wanted, plus his back injury was due to playing upwards of 100 games in one year (Brampton, Manitoba, Team Canada WJC). Not really anyone's fault there but Hodgson's Im sorry but MG is doing all he can do and how the training staff handle the players is out of his control so take some valium and chill. Trebreh
I hope this 'injury' is just an excuse to sit him out till Wednesday. But if its real then thats just typical Canuck luck isnt it?
