No thanks to Ehrhoff and Hodgson
Pominville or Vanek would be absolutely amazing!
Definitely okay with giving up Guance or Kassian for one of them

If they are getting rid of miller:

Guance + Schneider for Vanek

Sedin - Sedin - Vanek
Higgins - Kesler - Burrows
Raymond - Shroeder - Hansen
Jensen - Lapierre - Kassian

B)

I agree with not wanting Hodgson or Erhoff, but Gaunce and Schneider is WAY too much for just Vanek.. If we're going that way more like Gaunce + Schneider for Vanek, Pominville & Pick/Prospect

But personally I'd rather see Lou, Schroeder/Gaunce, Pick for Vanek, Grigorenko

Edited by AllCanucksAllTheTime, 01 April 2013 - 02:54 PM.

THIS:

Lecavalier had a terrible season and was flamed into submission for his poor play.

Yet, only 1 player on the Canucks scored more goals than him. That 1 player had 5 more goals (6 more points) but played 8 more games, averaged 6 and a half more minutes of ice a game, and took 107 more shots on net.

Kind of speaks volumes to how ugly the Canucks play was this past season.

Well, this just put Vanek up on the trading block. Yesterday Vanek said that he would have had no problem re-signing with the Sabres if they were going to only go through a 1-year semi-rebuild. Getting rid of our first line captain who is a sharpshooter in shootouts, pretty much screams at least 2-3 years partial rebuild. 5.3 Million is a lot for a winger but whichever teams have the cap room and the pieces to trade should call Regier fast and get a deal done. I was really really hoping that Darcy wasn't going to trade Pominville. This rebuild is not going to be fun to experience. It's difficult to swallow the fact that you'll never again see the players that you've loved to watch for almost a decade play in your team's jersey.

#sabres Jason Pominville should give tonight or Tuesday morning a list of 8 teams were he does NOT want to play. #RDS

Darcy Regier told Jason Pominville that with the team current situation, he needs to see what's out there. #sabres #RDS

Obviously would love to have the guy. What could we give up that would be attractive to them? It would probably have to be a big overpayment considering half the league would be interested.

We have no assets BUF would want or developed prospects they'd be interested in. Doubt BUF deals him unless a team like EDM moves some assets

I've always envisioned him as the ultimate winger for Kesler.

+ 18 points in his last 27 playoff games.

Wonder what they'd want if the Gillis were to get involved.

Ehrhoff,Ott, Pominville and Vanek For Luongo Raymond 1st 2013 1st 2014 ????

This might be the most one sided trade proposal I have ever seen on CDC.......and that is saying something.

Not to mention the salary cap next season is not 100 million.....lol

I feel for yer, SabreFan1.

And you're being overly sensitive and doing the exact same thing he is doing.  Focus on talking hockey if that's where you want the discussion to go.

Three-way trade with Toronto?

To Vancouver: Jason Pominville, Tyler Bozak, Ben Scrivens, Christian Ehrhoff

To Toronto: Ryan Miller, Mason Raymond, Drew Stafford, David Booth

To Buffalo: Roberto Luongo, Keith Ballard, Matt Frattin, 2013 2nd (Van)

Then Rodin, Sweatt, and a conditional 1st for Clowe

then finally Desbiens and a 4th for Torres

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Clowe - Kesler - Pominville
Higgins - Bozak - Hansen
Torres - Lapierre - Kassian

Hamhuis - Bieksa
Edler - Ehrhoff
Garrison - Tanev

Schneider
Scrivens

It might be too big of a trade but I think the value is there

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

Pominville would fit nicely with either Sedin or Kesler. Maybe he could get the team out of the slump

we have won 6 of last 7

WHEN HEALTHY

Like the rest of our team.

Buffalo already started the rebuild last year when they traded their B prospect for an A prospect

Not sure what pieces we would have to give up, but if we could get Clowe, Pominville and Ott for hypothetical's sake

Sedin - Sedin - Pominville
Clowe - Kesler - Burrows
Higgins - Ott - Hansen
Schroeder - Lapierre - Kassian

Hamhuis - Bieksa
Edler - Garrison
Barker - Tanev

Schneider
Luongo

Wow.........

List of eight teams where he "doesn't" want to be traded, or where he does want to be traded? Those are two very different situations.

Doesn't want to be traded to answer your question.

Booth, Raymond, Schroeder and a pick for Pominville, Ott?

Daniel - Henrik - Burrows
Kesler - Roy - Pominville
Higgins - Ott - Hansen
Sestito - Lapierre - Kassian

Lines 1A and 1B for scoring
Two-way shutdown line
Crash and bang 4th line

What would you guys think Pominville's value would be?

Player, pick, and prospect?

Raymond, Schroeder, Van 2014 2nd for Pominville?

Would Pominville be a good fit though? Kesler - Roy - Pominville would make a good two-way first line but would it be severely undersized? Especially come playoff time, or if we were to face the bigger teams?

To be fair though there aren't really many big teams in the west up front. Maybe St.Louis and LA, but the rest are nothing special.

I dunno. It's hard to gauge value with the current market and how everyone is trying to outbid each other. I would think that might be a bit too much for just Pominville. Raymond and pick for sure, then maybe a lower prospect. Or two mid-tier prospects and a pick.

Kesler is 6'2" & 202, Roy is 5'9" & 184, Pominville is 6'0" & 185. Not to undersized what matters is that they put up the points.
