smurf47
Last year, we averaged 3.04 goals a game and allowed only 2.41 This year, we are averaging 2.61 goals a game and allowing 2.58 - basically the same for and against. We are scoring less and allowing more. So no, the goalies can be blamed for allowing more goals against this year.
Riviera82
So....let me get this straight....in his last 2 starts, Schneider has let in 2 goals on the first 2 shots, and then 2 goals in 41 seconds. Tell me how that is any better than Luongo? Sorry, IMHO, there's no difference between the 2 other than the experience Luongo has.
Heretic
Well the difference is that Luongo has a history of letting that happen in playoff games, which of course tend to be significantly more important. Schneider does not yet have that history and did show last year that he can can elevate his game to a freakishly high level in the playoffs.
