Canucks_fo_life
"I would love to play for him again. And I don't look at Vancouver being that old or having peaked already and on the way down. They have a really good team and missing a huge piece with (Ryan) Kesler. Once they get into the playoffs, whoever plays them will have their hands full." — Sharks winger Ryane Clowe, a hot trade topic and pending UFA, on his junior coach Alain Vigneault and admiration of the Canucks. Everybody Hates Raymond
Not a goal this season? Perfect for AV. Keeps that 0-0 tie going strong! Good defensive hockey.

MoneypuckOverlord
These players may hate the canucks, it doesn't mean they will have a problem with playing for the Canucks. Canucks were tied for top 5 among teams most players will like to play for with Toronto and New York being the top 2. It's just like what Ken Hitchcock said last year. He said something in the lines that teams hate the Canucks because they are good. Mr. Hitchcock reconizes that, and respects the Vancouver Canucks a lot. Watermelons
Maybe Gillis kept AV for another season so Clowe would come to Vancouver GILLIS IS A GENIUS (sarcasm in case some people on CDC don't get it)
hockeyfan90
Would be funny if we get him and then fire AV lol
frazzY
0 goals but hes a playoff down the stretch performer. Still lots of gas in the tank and a fresh start is all he needs. Would be very happy with the acquisition if it happened. Stats dont tell everything

Gman
Clowe played junior between 2000-01 and 2002-03. Vigneault coached junior between 1986-87 and 1991-92, 1995-96 and 1996-97, and 2003-04 and 2004-05.
Armada
Not quite correct. AV junior coaching days: 86-87 Trois-Rivières Draveurs 87-92 Hull Olympiques 95-97 Beauport Harfangs 03-05 Prince Edward Island Rocket Clowe played three seasons in the (QMJHL) with the Rimouski Océanic and the Montreal Rocket. So yeah, I don't see where Clowe was ever coached by AV either.

FinishEveryCheck
The Heart of a Canuck went and watched Rihanna instead of his teammates, i say bring on Clowe. The fans seem to care more about this team than the players. probably see Ebbett resigned to a 5 year instead.
