"I would love to play for him again. And I don't look at Vancouver being that old or having peaked already and on the way down. They have a really good team and missing a huge piece with (Ryan) Kesler. Once they get into the playoffs, whoever plays them will have their hands full."

— Sharks winger Ryane Clowe, a hot trade topic and pending UFA, on his junior coach Alain Vigneault and admiration of the Canucks.

These players may hate the canucks, it doesn't mean they will have a problem with playing for the Canucks. Canucks were tied for top 5 among teams most players will like to play for with Toronto and New York being the top 2.

It's just like what Ken Hitchcock said last year.

He said something in the lines that teams hate the Canucks because they are good. Mr. Hitchcock reconizes that, and respects the Vancouver Canucks a lot.

Not quite correct.

AV junior coaching days:

86-87 Trois-Rivières Draveurs

87-92 Hull Olympiques

95-97 Beauport Harfangs

03-05 Prince Edward Island Rocket

Clowe played three seasons in the (QMJHL) with the Rimouski Océanic and the Montreal Rocket.

So yeah, I don't see where Clowe was ever coached by AV either.
