frazzY
They said it on the radio too.. Maybe he was an assistant or something.. I would trust that more than whatever you people dig up on google
NUCKS4CUP 28
The Heart of a Canuck went and watched Rihanna instead of his teammates, i say bring on Clowe. The fans seem to care more about this team than the players. probably see Ebbett resigned to a 5 year instead.
CanucksLegacy
Man, I've been looking at this crap all night and I still can't figure out where AV ever coached Clowe.
NUCKS4CUP 28
I did some research.. Ryane Clowe is an NHL alumni of PEI rockets. http://www.hockeydb....y.php?pid=55126 The franchise was granted in 1999, however the Rocket were originally located in Montreal, Quebec and called the Montreal Rocket. In 2003 they were relocated to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. ^http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/P.E.I._Rocket List of teams AV coached: http://www.hockeydb....ay.php?pid=7532 As you can see, AV coached the PEI Rockets (formerly known as Montreal Rockets, 03-04) and Clowe played for them (02-03, Montreal Rockets). I'm guessing AV was hired early 2003 (during season) after a firing/replacement or something, and was there to coach Clowe for awhile.
RunningWild
Has he said anything about any other team? It seems kind of odd, is he trying to direct a trade to Van?

zejono
if we can get clowe and torres too that would work wonders in hits and grinding.
TheFleetwoodMack
Clowe would be an amazing pickup... can't see SJ trading a guy like that to a Western team though.
Gman
If the cost is a first and a prospect as being rumored I'd rather pass.
C-TRAIN5000
definitely would be a huge snag from a western rival...hard to say if SJ takes the risk....Philly seems like a safer bet for them assuming the rumors are true and the flyers are in play

etsen3
Still don't want Clowe unless it's for a low price. 0 goals this season. Maybe he needs a change of scenery but if the asking price is a pick and a prospect as rumored there's no way.

Edlerberry
30 Year old Clowe doesn't think the team is peaking. Sounds like he's projecting a bit.
FinishEveryCheck
Clowes got 5 years left in him easy, the guy is a beast. Clowe, Jagr , Ott and the bandwagon gets full up. Sedin-Sedin-Jagr Clowe-Kesler-Burrows Higgins-Ott-Hansen Sestito-Yappy-Kassian this would be a very nasty team to play against.
thad
He's one of my favorite players in the NHL. Get him here and sign him long term.
Scottish⑦Canuck
Hmm. I was against adding Clowe if the price is steep, but if we could somehow add him we won't look too shabby going into the playoffs. (Providing that everyone stays healthy of course, which is unlikely given how the season has gone so far).
