poetica Posted April 2, 2013 Share Posted April 2, 2013 I think Roy has the talent to fit in with this team and we certainly needed a centre. With that said, this team needs grit and size, and Roy is a detriment in that regard. Plus, once Kesler comes back does he switch to wing? Not sure putting one of our best players in an unnatural position is the best thing.... Still excited to see how Roy plays though. The guy has been a point-a-game player in the past and isn't exactly too old to replicate a similar performance with the right team and chemistry... Both him and Kesler and versitile enough to fit to when Kesler does return. Great addition but considering what similar rental players were going for KConn and a 2nd seems a bit high, but I guess Corrado makes KConn expendable to some degree. Avicii Posted April 2, 2013 Share Posted April 2, 2013 Connauton is expendable cause Corrado is the next Weber lol Corrado will be a top pairing defenseman or a shutdown pairing defenseman for his entire career. Think Hamhuis, except he shoots right. Definitely will make Edler expendable when he hits his full potential. Ballard will also be bought out or traded.. Hamhuis, Bieksa, Edler, Garrison, Tanev, Corrado will probably be the 6 defenseman next year. Hamhuis - Bieksa Edler - Corrado Garrison - Tanev You can switch Tanev and Corrado around..
