[Trade] Jagr to Boston

81 posts in this topic

It's a 1st or 2nd and two prospects for a player the Bruins could have had in the off season for $4.5mil.

if pitts/boston are healthy and meet in the playoffs, that series is going to be insane.

Anyone know how good that Payne guy is?

If he's just average than I think Dallas could have gotten more for Jagr.

Why are the stars getting rid of everyone?

Wished we got Jagr instead of Roy

NHL.com title, "Shipping up to Boston." How long was that one in the holster...

You would rather give up a 1st round pick for Jagr? No thanks. Jagr is not worth a 1st rounder.

And we needed a center, which Jagr is not. Roy fits our needs way more.

Signing him in the offseason doesn't help them in this years playoffs.

Jagr was willing to take a paycut to stay in Philadelphia but he wanted more playing time, Philly and him ultimately split as they though there prospects would see more ice time. Part of going to Dallas was he was assured top ice time something the Bruins likely would not guarentee.

1st is conditional based on if bruins reach the east final. If not then its a second... also if u ask me k Conn is better than both the prospects they got from Boston.

Yea, and you don't think Boston will reach the conference finals? I think they'll easily cruise to the finals. So it will be a first.

And if the Canucks picked up Jagr, you would hope we at least make the WCF.

Either way we needed a center. We have too many wingers as it is.

Jagr to the Bruins? Doesn't Chiarelli realize Jagr isn't a diver, whiner, or a thug? He won't fit into Julien's game plan.

Lucic - Krejci - Jagr

Marchand - Bergeron - Seguin

Paille - Peverley - Horton

Daugavins - Campbell - Thornton

IR: Kelly

Dallas did well for themselves signing Jagr.

Treated their fans to a great player and received value for simply having signed a contract. I was slagged for wanting Jagr last year, and this.
