I'd rather Jagr over Roy

Really? I rather have Roy although I would love Jagr too. We needed a centerman, and at the price are you willing to give up a 1st round pick a long with 2 prospects for Jagr? Probably not.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

Why aren't Pitt in on Jagr? You would have expected Jagr to prefer going there anyways.

I'd rather have Roy for a playoff run. Biggest reason - he's not 41.

Jagr doesn't play like a 41 year old. He's big. He's strong. He's a weapon and he is experiences.

DAL will receive prospects Lane MacDermid and Cody Payne (Plymouth) as part of the Jagr trade with BOS.

I'm not happy the Bruins got him, but you know they wanted to try and keep up with the Pens.

I'm hoping they hit a brick wall and get booted in the first round.

Confirming # Stars Jagr to #Bruins is for 2nd pick and 2 prospects. Pick changes depending on how Bruins do. #TradeTracker

What the hell. Why didn't we land Jagr then :(

It's a second rounder and plug prospects. Jagr is still great and would have been better with the Sedins or Kesler

He does have a no trade clause maybe we weren't on his list

Conditional 2nd rounder BOS will give DAL in Jagr deal becomes a 1st rounder if BOS wins two playoff series. BTW, deal still not official.

doubt the canucks would have paid that price for jags.

I'd honestly prefer neither team to make the Eastern finals. What upsets those would be.

Now it's official. Jagr is a Bruin. DAL gets MacDermid, Payne and conditional 2nd round pick.

Yea I see it now, great move by Boston. Something I wouldn't mind Vancouver doing.

A few eastern teams are getting ready for a deep playoff run. Jagr is still very useful and has the hands even if not the same legs as before. For a moment there I was actually hoping we had put in an effort to get him. That would have been nice...

He had a list of teams he was willing to be traded to, maybe Van wasnt on that list, would've been nice though he's still a beast

One of my all time favorite players going to a team I strongly dislike. It's too bad really. Here's to hoping he doesn't resign in Boston

He has more than 1800 NHL points, 189 of them in the playoffs. If Boston wants to go all-in, they could hardly have picked a better player.

It's a 1st or 2nd and two prospects for a player the Bruins could have had in the off season for $4.5mil.
