YOUR 2013 PLAYOFF LINEUP

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows

Raymond - Kesler - Hansen

Higgins - Roy - Kassian

Sestito - Lapierre - Weise

Hamhuis - Garrison

Edler - Bieksa

Ballard - Tanev

Raymond and Hansen are playing really well together, and I liked Higgins and Kassian together in the games they played. Three lines that'll be a threat to score... hopefully.

Sedin Sedin Kassian

Raymond Kesler Burrows

Higgins Roy Hansen

Sestito Lapierre Weise

Roy is going to step in and make them look like the first line for the next 2 weeks. Twins stumble a bit next 2 games. We call up kassian and slide him back in there, it works like a charm. Mayray and kes come back and kes gets reunited with burr. They start killing it... Weise starts to get his legs and sparks the 4th line like they just got Crosby back. AV rolls 4 lines all the way to the cup. Clean 4 game sweep over the bruins with Lu in net.

Lu for nick bjugstad and two 1st round picks at the draft

i actually really like this roster. while i believe we could have added one more piece, ROY was a great addition.

I'm pretty sure BOOTH will not be healthy come playoff time. and that the team will try to keep KESLER at centre.

so lineup looks something like this:

DANIEL ---- HENRIK ---- BURROWS

RAYMOND --- KESLER --- KASSIAN

HIGGINS --- ROY ---- HANSEN

SESTITO --- LAPPIERRE -- WEISE/PINI

>>>> i would venture to say that this is one of the best 3rd lines in the league <<<

Because we are not tough, I think we should be cheap. and have a good pk. Retaliate when other teams are dirty, by slashing and spearing and being dirty right back. Take the penalties and suspensions but teach everyone else they will get hurt if they mess around. Kind of tounge in cheek, but seriously, if I see one of our players get bobble-headed like a Sedin did against Boston, I'm gonna walk out of the bar and go play street hockey.

Going into the playoffs, this team is much better than 2011. Just compare the lines...

2011:

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows

Raymond - Kesler - Higgins

Hansen - Lappy - Torres

Oreskovich - Bolduc - Tambellini

Edler - Ehrhoff

Hamhuis - Bieksa

Salo - Rome

Luongo

Schneider

2013:

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows

Raymond - Kesler - Kassian

Hansen - Roy - Higgins

Weise - Lappy - Pinnizzotto

Edler - Bieksa

Hamhuis - Garrison

Tanev - Ballard

Schneider

Luongo

This is assuming Sweatt and Jensen are sent down and that Booth stays injured. So much better. Anyone saying this team is worse is dead wrong. This team has a far better future than the first round...

Powerplay really suffers with the absence of Ehrhoff,

one of the most underrated defenseman in the league imo.

And I seriously doubt Roy will be on the 3rd, unless he is in fact a rental, management isn't going to be willing to pay him the amount he wants for being a bottom 6 player.

with all due respect, I just don't see what your seeing, and I'm a huge fan, and I want to badly agree with you, but I don't see it. I just don't. Our centers are stronger maybe, but no..... it's really not. The 2011 Defence was much better that team also had a deadly powerplay.

I can pretty much write an essay on how strong the 2011 team. The 2013 team does have very good depth , but really.... lol don't compare it to the 2011 team.

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows

Raymond-Schroeder-Kesler

Higgins-Roy-Hansen (as rumored)

Pini/Booth-Lapierre-Kassian

PP1: Sedin-Sedin-Kesler-Burrows-Edler

PP2: Higgins-Roy-Hansen-Schroeder/Raymond-Garrison

PK:Raymond/Hansen, Kesler/Burrows, Higgins/Lappy

After PK: Sedins with Kassian

If Booth comes back our forward depth is actually quite spectacular.
