Hunter.S-Kerouac
Why does everybody pencil in Jim Vandermeer as a left winger in their armchair coach lines? He's a defenceman not a left winger. He's played left wing in spurts only out of necessity.
Hunter.S-Kerouac
^Because we need him to punish defencemen on the dump and chase so the Sedins can take advantage of them once their crippled.
ShakyWalton
Jim Vandermeer is one tough puppy,,he probably will never be called up because of AV...and we will lose him in the off season without renewal...damn...use him now. I would think he is the toughest guy in the organization...without a doubt.

austy
I think pinni is a nit out of shape maybe? Just coming back from injury, prefer Lappy centering. Has anyone seen vandermeer play? I haven't so can comment on his play.
FinishEveryCheck
A line with two slow as mud skaters in Vandermeer and Sestito, and an AHL forward. Wow! What isn't there to love about that?

Italia2006
Sesitito, Lappiere(the big mouth guy) and Vandermeer. Free Lappy and let him use his mouth to get his game going. He'll have two big boys to back him up. The nice thing with Vandermeer is that he's a defenceman and can be a reliable forward in his own end. He's also a +7. Ride the red Pony
Had a look at some of Vandy's work, look like SJ played him wing, only one fight in the A this year good tilt tho. Pro's- can throw both hands, good stamina, good chin, not just a meatbag can actually do some damage. Con's- little slow, not many tilts in the past 2 years. Just the reputation alone is enough to get the other teams attention, hold other teams accountable, if they try the Marchand BS.

Understand
Vandermeer is the toughest guy in the organization. AV or MG simply like small skilled players over big and character guys. This is what this Canucks teams all about.....

CB007
i want that animal i saw that jumped on the other teams bench solo and started swinging, I'm sick of this kumbaya crap, Ebbett is uselss out there, if the 4th line of Vandermeer-Pinizzotto-Sesito arent on search and destroy missions targeting the other teams best asset then we will be gone in 5-6 games. it's time to play hardball, stop pussyfooting around. run out top 9 as much as possible 3 line scoring threat we should have now and save the goon line to deal with the other teams garbage and scum that are sure to be be gooning the Twins, Raymond, Burrows Hansen etc... Vandermeer-Pinizzotto-Sesito Sedin-Sedin-Kassian Burrows-Kesler-Jensen Higgins-Roy-Hansen this could be legit Vandermeer-Pinizzotto-Sestito

PlayoffHockey
Nearly all of our players are 6'0" or bigger. With the exception of Ebbett, and Roy right now.
zejono
Did you guys see what Torres did in his first game with SJ? He got the second star, had 2 assists and lots of hits. MG is a real idiot for not bringing him back. Just watch Torres injure someone on our team in playoffs. MG will look so stupid.
