UFTcan Posted April 4, 2013 Share Posted April 4, 2013 i would of loved Torres too.. but think what we did to him last time, he stepped it up turned beast mode, really stepped it up for us, and we let him walk over a couple hundred thousand, when we could have easily signed him. Maybe its a blessing cause I just cant see Raffi stepping up for this team the way he did last time. When you know your a rental and the team doesnt have the heart to keep you or sign you.. He would have added instant credibility to our prospect pool with the likes of Jensen and Kassian there too. Also think O'byrne or McBain would have really helped the situation. Struggling with Thornton, Marleau, Pavelski as C options in SJS. Glad we didn't get Torres (reputation). Might as well put Ballard on the 3rd line wing and save the pick. Pominville would have killed the farm. 1st, 2nd 2014 + Lack + Schroeder? Maybe would have considered Guance + 4th for Morrow. Maybe. O'Byrne for a 4th 2014. Maybe. Happy with Roy. So then once again we are back to the same question....Raffi Torres who would play 7 minutes a game for a 2nd rnd pick or a 3rd rnd pick and a prospect?????
