Hopefully when Kesler returns from injury the Canucks send Ebbett down, but it will likely be Pinizzotto. Two natural skilled centers in the top 6 would do wonders.

Charles Sarault was an assist machine in the OHL for the Sarnia Sting during the last two years and is very talented. Gillis and his management staff completely fell asleep at the wheel in not signing him. The Ducks signed him to an ELC and just had 2 assists in his AHL debut. He's the kind of guy that would have been great to groom as our future #1 playmaking center. To be clear, I don't know if Sarault will ever reach 1st line level, but when you dish out 80+ assists in the OHL and 100+ points, there's something to work with there.

He should go to Cannata next game, and sub in Sauve (a stay at home d-man), for one of his offensive guys. And put Grenier onto the top line to spark the offense, since he was Kalamazoo's best player.

Bur he probably won't.

Has Grenier really been that good for the K-Wings DeNiro?

Yea, I would say so.

He was named rookie of the year for them after scoring at a 0.84 PPG pace; which was second highest on the team. Him and Mallet seem to have formed really good chemistry too.

Here's a sample of his work this season:

Beauty Stretch Pass

Nice breakaway goal

Nice dangle and snipe

Beauty shootout goal

Highlights are up.

Schroeder with a beauty assist on the first goal. But the D coverage and goaltending was horrible tonight.
