NuxFan09 Posted April 6, 2013 Author Share Posted April 6, 2013 Charles Sarault was an assist machine in the OHL for the Sarnia Sting during the last two years and is very talented. Gillis and his management staff completely fell asleep at the wheel in not signing him. The Ducks signed him to an ELC and just had 2 assists in his AHL debut. He's the kind of guy that would have been great to groom as our future #1 playmaking center. To be clear, I don't know if Sarault will ever reach 1st line level, but when you dish out 80+ assists in the OHL and 100+ points, there's something to work with there. Petey Castiglione Posted April 6, 2013 Share Posted April 6, 2013 Yea, I would say so. He was named rookie of the year for them after scoring at a 0.84 PPG pace; which was second highest on the team. Him and Mallet seem to have formed really good chemistry too.
