It's been a strange season, and a difficult time to cut deals in general (including the CBA) - I think this reflects less on Luongo and his contract than people have made it out to be. TmanVan Posted April 12, 2013 Share Posted April 12, 2013 and if you stopped living in the past and took your blinders off and lived in the present you'd see where Lou ranks amongst todays NHL goalies. Hes not playing at an elite level and is not likely to improve with technical fixes. No team has stepped up to trade for . Lou., so, maybe you are missing what other teams are seeing. An aging goalie, low end of NHL in stats with an inconsistent history. Even our beloved Canucks have turned to Schneider and relegated Lou to the backup roll.
