Everybody Hates Raymond
Continuing from my thread from last year... DIVISION CHAMPIONS FOR THE LAST TIME IN HISTORY! There are twogames left until the end of the regular season, and only one week! Currently, the Canucks are positioned to be matched up against the St. Louis Blues. During the season, the Canucks have gone 2-2-0 against Minnesota. Other possible candidates for the 6th seed include the San Jose sharks - whom the Canucks have gone 0-2-1 against this year, the Phoenix Coyotes - whom the Canucks have gone 2-1-0 against this year, the St. Louis Blues - whom the Canucks have gone 1-0-2 against this year, and the Detroit Red Wings, who the Canucks are1-2-0 against. The Canucks are also projected to be fully healthy near the end of the first round, or (if they make it), the beginning of the second round. That would make the line-up as follows: SEDIN - SEDIN - BURROWS HIGGINS - ROY- KESLER RAYMOND- LAPIERRE - HANSEN SESTITO/PINNER - LAPIERRE - WEISE HAMHUIS - GARRISON EDLER - BIEKSA BALLARD - TANEV SCHNEIDER LUONGO The challenge ahead is greater than ever - and this is the best year for the Canucks to go all the way. Many obstacles lie ahead... Can Vancouver prevail? GCG

TOMapleLaughs
Hope so. Good opportunity to redeem himself. There is a beacon of hope that we can pull it together and win it all. 'Put it together at the right time', etc. But i think that last game against Chicago in the season will unfold another chapter in our rivalry. Hopefully a positive one this time. Like a makeup for us losing Daniel last time.

elvis15
As far as I'm aware, he's projected to be back early in the playoffs.
Everybody Hates Raymond
Good point. I'd call cap shenanigans but that injury looked legit. It's hearing surgery though that has me thinking he's done for the year altogether, and that'll suck.
TOMapleLaughs
Let's hope. Without Booth our lineup isn't quite there. If he comes back energized, he could really have a great playoff. Just remembering that offensive run he went on last season. It's a fading memory, but it's still there. Booth is capable of scoring some goals. deebs19
Sedin, Sedin, Burrows, Kesler, Roy, Kassian, Booth, Raymond, Hansen, Higgins, Lapierre.... wow that is A LOT of depth. Im happy looking at the roster this year. Not to mention the fact that it looks like the Canucks have finally found their heart and determination. Roy looks excellent so far and should be exciting to watch in the playoffs! Nucks- Cup Finals. This is it! This is our time. And this time were taking it all! apollo
The cup is ours. Luongo comes off the bench in game 7 scf OT to score the only goal of the game.
CanucksJay
This team is pretty stacked. I listed our roster with their actual worth on an average team rather than on our team D Sedin 1a H Sedin 1a Burrows 1b Kesler 1b Roy 2a Booth 2b Raymond 2b Hansen 2b Kassian 2b Higgins 2b Lappiere 3b Weise 4a We honestly have a log jam of players capable of playing 2nd line on most teams.
