Nuxfanabroad
Happy with the games today-now if only the Oilers can get a few quickies! With Minny losing, we can rest any guys who are bruised up, these next couple games. Get Lu in for one(to keep him fairly sharp), & start to fine-tune our squad. Looking more & more like Blues will be road kill.
Plum
Maybe we do want to play St.Louis. They're looking horrible against Colorado. Allen let in a horrible goal, and then the Blues gave up 3 golden opportunities right after.
hwy19man
I agree with most posters above; a jump up into second place and getting to play one of CBJ or MIN would be preferable. That's probably not going to happen. Likely to match up against one of SJ, STL, or LA. Those are pretty tough draws all around.

Gally
I'm cheering for the Blues and the Stars tomorrow because I don't think the BJs or Wild will pass them and Id rather play SJ than STL. What about you guys?
Mr.53
I want the finals to come down to montreal v vancouver. Winner brings the cup back home where it belongs. That would be epic.
John.Tallhouse
Trying not to get my hopes up after the team **** the bed in the first round against LA. Will be watching sceptically.
Tangelos
I hope we get San Jose in the first round. Columbus would be ideal but unlikely.
apollo
Can we forfeit the division and just ask for the 8th seed. I want Duncan "Daniels little bitch" Keith to come to the airport so I can spit on his face and run away. Yes I said run away lol ... he'd destroy me

cs2016
Ok let's try this again. With a STL win and a SJ loss, we'll be facing the Sharks who play 2 more games. But here's hoping the Wild pick it up in their last three games and somehow jump to 6th. Would much rather play them than the Sharks and Blues. sxqhfeh
Continuing from my thread from last year... DIVISION CHAMPIONS FOR THE LAST TIME IN HISTORY! There are twogames left until the end of the regular season, and only one week! Currently, the Canucks are positioned to be matched up against the St. Louis Blues. During the season, the Canucks have gone 2-2-0 against Minnesota. Other possible candidates for the 6th seed include the San Jose sharks - whom the Canucks have gone 0-2-1 against this year, the Phoenix Coyotes - whom the Canucks have gone 2-1-0 against this year, the St. Louis Blues - whom the Canucks have gone 1-0-2 against this year, and the Detroit Red Wings, who the Canucks are1-2-0 against. The Canucks are also projected to be fully healthy near the end of the first round, or (if they make it), the beginning of the second round. That would make the line-up as follows: SEDIN - SEDIN - BURROWS HIGGINS - ROY- KESLER RAYMOND- LAPIERRE - HANSEN SESTITO/PINNER - LAPIERRE - WEISE HAMHUIS - GARRISON EDLER - BIEKSA BALLARD - TANEV SCHNEIDER LUONGO The challenge ahead is greater than ever - and this is the best year for the Canucks to go all the way. Many obstacles lie ahead... Can Vancouver prevail? GCG

Silfverberg Snipes
I'm getting shivers already. The only thing I'm worried about is whether our defence will show up to play. I remember both Hamhuis and Edler having terrible giveaways in the LA series where we nearly got swept. If they can lock it down on D we have a legitamite shot. Raffi Torres's Smirk
I wanted to play SJ in the first round, but now I'm having second thoughts. Do we really want a vengeful Raffi Torres skating around looking for trouble?
higgyfan
I think it will be StL. Sharks have a game against Phoenix, which I think they win. SJ wins the tie breaker. Worst match up for our guys...

etsen3
This year I want to see the Canucks regain that somewhat cocky attitude from 2011. I now know why other teams considered us to be arrogant that year - because the Canucks were a very confident bunch and pretty much knew they were gonna win every night. That supreme confidence and momentum (or arrogance as some other teams considered it) made us a dominant team. Lately the Canucks have been on a good run and have started to gain pieces of that confidence. If we can fully regain our swagger I like our chances at the Cup, no matter who we play.
