I don't want Lu to go to Toronto, especially if Toronto gets destroyed in the first round.

Isles are a perfect team with young talent, and if they get Lu, could go 2nd-3rd round or better.

On Draft Day.

To Canucks: Ryan Strome, Frans Neilson, 2nd 2013.

To Islanders: Roberto Luongo and Alexander Mallett.

Resign Raymond 3 years 2.5 -3 million per.
Resign Roy 2 years 4.5 per.
Trade Ballard to Philly for 3rd/4th
Resign Lapierre 1 year 1 million per.
Resign Weise 1 year 600k

Lineup

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows
Booth-Kesler-Hansen
Raymond-Roy-Kassian
Higgins-Nielson-Lapierre
Jensen/Weise/Strome

Edler-Garisson
Hamhuis-Bieksa
Free Agent-Tanev

Schneider
Free Agent

I hate Toronto

ahhaahhahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahaahahhaha, the fact no one would bite on Luongo at the trade deadline, what makes you think your going to get a top 5 pick and a 35-50 point 3rd line centre????...This is why I dont ever bother with this proposal thread cuz of idiots like you.

I don't think the Islanders would accept that deal. Overpayment by them imo...I'd definitely take the deal though.

Also, I don't think that Charles Wang would want to pay Luongo the rest of the contract though...although, I have to admit that the contract would help the Islanders reach the cap floor (while they pay less because Luongo has a backdiving contract)

they have a monster contract in depietro already, Nabokov is decent and Thomas might play next year so they have re0siging him as an option. I think they may be interested in luongo but they wont overpay

He better not be.

Mike Gillis offers Luongo for Scrivens and two 2nds and it gets declined, and he wouldn't take that offer?!?! He must be insane.

This is why I hate posting proposals, some say it's an overpayment and others say it's a underpayment.

The people who understand hockey think it's a massive underpayment - bandwagoners who over-idolize Luongo think it's an overpayment.

If we were being offered anything half-way decent, Luongo would have been gone long ago (teams don't keep players who ask to be traded, unless they have absolutely no choice). Heck, we couldn't even get a 3rd line center for him. So, if we couldn't get that (in almost a year now), there's no chance in hell we're going to get blue-chip prospects. And, neither are we going to get lottery-picks, superstars, 1st liners, top 4 d-men, etc... We're literally going to have to settle for a bag of pucks.

I could definitely see Grabner going. He seems to have done his best to play his way out the door (and Gillis seems to be the smartest GM we've ever had, so, put two and two together)...

If Luongo where to get traded to Toronto I would be alright with Luongo and a 3rd 2013 pick for Ben Scrivens, Mat Frattin, 2nd 2013 pick and I would like to see Jake Gardiner include as well.

I'm afraid not. If Luongo was worth more than that he wouldn't be in Vancouver right now. Because of his contract, Luongo is pretty much worthless.

for

Luongo, Booth, Ballard.

Kill 3 stones with one trade. Hopefully streit tells them to F off and they are in desperate need of a defenseman.
