aqua59
Check out the score board from last night. Minny loses 2-0. Another loss. It wasn't that long ago that people were talking about Vancouver losing it's grip on first in their division. 6 points at this stage of the season is going to be pretty hard for Minny to make up. Spending all that cash on two players has been a flop. People talk about Luongo's deal, what about the Minny deal? If Minny doesn't make it people are going to be freaking in Minny. That deal is fresh. I'm glad Gillis and Co have stayed the course. It looks like another division win for Vancouver and home ice advantage. Alex the Great
Not a flop... NJD and NSH are both out of the playoffs but the spenders (MIN) are in a playoff spot.

Scottish⑦Canuck
They're still in the playoffs but they're collapsing fast. It's quite funny really.

kloubek
Not a flop at all. Those are two of their best players; without them, the Wild wouldn't even be in playoff contention.
Apple Juice
It's not really a flop, more like a disappointment.
Onions
they added two new pieces to build around. After this season, they can build some more. Cup contender? no way. two players don't make a cup winning team. but from under 8 to above 8 is going in the right step. you can talk about those two deals but who will be laughing in a few years when our core declines/retires? Oilers and Wild are stepping up their game and we will suffer. Sure we have a few good prospects but nothing like they have. in the post-cap season, you can't expect to stay in the top 8 forever unless you are the red wings.(and even they might be out this year )
higgyfan
Not a flop at all. Minni were horrible in years gone by and are now a playoff team. Of all people, Nuck fans should know that it takes time for new players to adjust to their new team. Minni has made a lot of changes this year and are finally a decent team, with a great group of prospects. They will be challenging the Nucks before the Oilers get it together. Besides, their final games are against easier teams than the Canucks final games. Lots of Flames, Oilers, Bluejackets and Avalanche. They probably won't catch the Nucks, but it will be close. westvandude
It was getting close, but now they need to be near perfect in the final 8 games to and us being mediocare for them to catch us. I'm just happy that (hopefully) we'll win the final North West Division title to finish the streak. And also happy that we won't see their boring team too much next year. Altho, a very interesting 1st round match up could be a nice way to finish NW division!
