Check out the two existing threads for possibilities:
Antoine Laganiere
College/Major Junior Free Agents 2013 Thread

If this team lets go of Sang he will burn this team next year.

I think Laganiere is going to go to the Oilers. Just a hunch. Not sure why but something seems to be happening there.

gauranteed ice time probably. Edmonton's management team is incompetent enough to play such a card. With or without Tambo.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

Uh, that's called firing your GM and replacing him with the coach you fired a couple years before but then rehired to help in the front office, all the while going on a losing streak to all but eliminate yourself from the playoffs. I bet even Schultz wishes he hadn't signed there.

It's called hiring your friends despite their lack of qualifications.

Yale's Antoine Laganiere just texted me he hasn't made up his mind yet. Habs or not? We'll find out soon.

No news yet about possibilities? I figured someone would have tweeted something by now.

Or if he is still on top of his dorm room with a bottle of Jack Daniels singing Home Sweet Home to the campus hahaha

This would be really sweet for a shallow prospect pool

I dunno why.. the longer this drags on... the more uneasy feeling i get... it seems like every time we are in the conversation of a prospect signing / player singing that goes loud.. we usually will not get said player / prospect.

Seems like Lain signing is much more well hidden unlike Laganiere....and we get Lain quickly.

Look at Doan, Clowe... seems like a trend...

Hopefully I am wrong.

The timing of the hype machine. When college free agents started becoming free nobody on here or media paid much attention. Only that we had signed some 6'6 center who could possibly helpp us in the future, and rumour of us being in on 2-3 more. That part perked OUR curiousity and as Yale progressed WE here dug deeper as to what this Laganiere was all about..... See where im going with this?

Kinda sounds like it was here or Pitt but then his hometown team Montreal came into the sweepstakes. Like you guys the longer this goes the less confident I feel

Looks like Hartzell signed with the Pens yesterday... if anyone cares... pretty decent numbers.

Edit: Nm already posted... didn't see it.

Isn't Lain supposed to be a 4th line player? Gaustad type? If he can't handle the AHL there is no way he is getting in a game for the Canucks on the 4th line.

Looking like once again the Canucks are not going to have a difference making 4th line in the playoffs.

Sestito is a liabiltiy defensively and so is Pinizzotto and cant be trusted to play a regular shift.

Jensen might be the best option on the 4th line to fill left wing with Booth not expected back in time for the first round due to his size and skill and ability to play on the pk or pp if necessary.

This might be a good way to integrate Jensen to playoff pressure while getting valuable experience and he can provide a lot more versatility up and down the lineup than Sestito or Pinizzotto.

Playoff lines when everyone is back healthy:

Sedin-Sedin-Burrows

Hamhuis-Garrison

Raymond-Kesler-Kassian

Edler-Bieksa

Higgins-Roy-Hansen

Ballard-Tanev

Jensen-Lapierre-Weise

Schneider

Luongo

Edited by Terry Crews, 20 April 2013 - 03:26 AM.

Looking forward to the draft and off-season moves. This team needs major changes.

Needs to get more skilled, physical, faster, younger.

At least we're included in conversations for these players. It's better than being a team that no players even consider.
