All of the other "points" are secondary. Pleasure for example is secondary. I actually for once agree with GlassJaw....if you are going to conduct this absurd study...why isn't there a study that shows what size of breast males prefer in females..or hips..etc..is it because that study may be too "vile" or "insulting" to the women involved? I mean, the organ as a whole--regardless of its state--is pretty vile, but flaccid? That's like judging the quality of a cake before its baked. Does this study consider how modern polled women live in a post-Victorian, pornified culture, and therefore the simple act of witnessing genitalia (male or female) in modern times is WAY, WAY, WAY different than say a primitive culture? The study basically says that the size of a penis mattered, but how was that scaled with other physical traits? And has the penis "evolved" at the same rate that the rest of the human body has? If so... ? This would be an interesting study if the sample was a bunch of tribal groups where clothing isn't really an issue, and sex organs are normalized. Also doesn't this sort of study imply a monogamous relationship, where partners are chosen for aesthetic or emotional purposes rather than the necessity of communal sex that likely dominated primitive cultures? And if it were for pleasure, wouldn't women figure out that flaccid size isn't necessarily indicative of erect size? As an aside, were the Italian men polled examined by a physician/scientist, or were the results self-reported? I remember reading that men who report their own size often lie or "miscalculate." Anyway, cj_coolcat, I'm sure there's a lot more research out there, I just found the journalistic flare rather crass. If the mainstream media used equivalent language like "size matters!" and "ideal size!" and "worrying for some women!" to discuss things, there would be an appropriate and understandable backlash and criticism from a lot of women. No . It's the same thing. Post naked simulated figures of women, and most of the men would prefer nice breats with fine curves. It's the same thing for women. Women or generally find men that are taller more "attractive and appealin" Try it. Tall man, or a fatso. Do you honestly expect them to chose the shorter guy? Probably not. It is what is in their head and heart that matter most. One fall down a flight of stairs can leave someone disfigured for life, but that's just the body that carries the person around. Those women are only good for a one night stand. I would probably use the term sex buddies since that is the only thing that they would be useful for.
