King Heffy
Class move by Bert. I'd love to have him back but the media in this city would never stop talking to him about the Moore incident. He deserves better.
Erik Karlsson
When did you meet Bert?!! Never had a chance to meet him. But i did have a chance to walk beside him near the courthouses. That man is massive. Holy crap!
kassians_fist
That's so great for Kassian! Haha he looks so giddy in those pictures!
Sugar baby watermelon
Forget Lucic, Big Bert is the player Kass should aspire to be!!!! Seeing Bertuzzi throw down some thunderous hits like in that Gatorade commercial were awesome!!!

Drouin
Great story! It's good that Kassian idolizes Big Bert. Hopefully he can mould himself into a power forward like Bertuzzi one day. Maybe even better.
Drouin
I've still got this on my wall in my living room. I would be over the moon if Big Bert made a return to Vancouver, especially in a Kassian-Training capacity. He's still effective, as is proven in detroit. And he'll have a year off with the back injury by the time next season rolls around
Bring_Back_Bertuzzi
bring him back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ocular Patdown
Kassian looking like bertuzzi, late in the game there. Not backing down and sticking up for himself. If Bert came here for a year, the benefits would be astronomical to kassians development
TimberWolf
Prior to a game...had my nephew and son with me and he autographed their hats. He was SO cordial and warm...nothing like the monster he was made out to be.
*vInTaGe*
It's a dream of mine to have Bert back, him and Snazzy Nazzy brought me to the Canucks.
hockeyville88
Very cool! Kassian shows flashes of the Bertuzzi skill but not often enough. He's a work in progress
BI3KSA-
love Bert but I'd rather Kassian not copy Berts method for protecting his teammates. We don't need another Moore incident.
Tru_Knyte
Would be nice to bring Bert back to finish off his career, and let Kassian learn from the only real power forward we've had in recent history.
deebow420
i doubt that big bert will dance with kassian when we play the wings again this year but I bet zack grabs a hold of tootoo and gives him a whoopin infront of his idol! loved the pics and great article! WiDeN
If only we could get Bert on a 1 or 2 year deal next year to end his days a Nucks and mentor Zack!! That would be a great investment in the future.
Armada
Wow. Say what u want about Bert but this guy is all class. Forget the Moore incident.
spliced
Zack will never have Bert's hands, it was awesome what he could do with the puck. He's not as good of a skater either. Bert was a pretty unique power forward, Zack is more traditional. Both can be frustrating at times though. Bertuzzi actually wore #27 when he first came to Vancouver. NUCKS4CUP 28
I started watching the Canucks in 2003 when I was around 9 or 10 years old.... I just remember how Bertuzzi dominated everyone, and not just that, he was a force - skill, strength, a typical power forward He was my favourite Canuck growing up. As for the Moore incident, it wasn't entirely Burt. I still like Big Burt.
