Now that we've found a winger that has chemisty and playmaking ability to be with Kesler, do we call back up Schroeder and reunite the Raymond/Schroeder/Hansen line?

Missed the first period or so and I'm watching the re-broadcast atm (don't anyone tell me the final score!!!!) :P

Ballard looks pretty good out there. He looks in control of the ice when he has the puck on his stick.

Lu had a solid game.

Garrison started bad but finished very strong. I think he's our best D-man and getting better as his comfort level and confidence grows. AV needs to realize that Edler isn't yet ready for the expectations they have for him especially on the PP.

Burrows and Kass wre awesome. Both showing how they need to play to be successful in the playoffs. THe most emotion I have seen from any of our players in a long while. Kass taking on Weber ans Josi at the same time was classic!! Bert would have been proud.

Roy and Kesler are Dangeroud but Hansen seems to have been missed by most here. He screened Rinne on the Garrison goal and tied up Weber to allow Roy the time and space to find Kesler on Kes' 2nd goal along with getting 2 assists himself. He definitely was a crucial piece of the line's success!

2nd period and defensive zone coverage are still a big concern but the emotional response by Burr and Kass was refreshing and leaves me with hope.

EDIT: Alberts had a strong game and looked good and effective skating the puck up ice.

Kass pushes Weber with the inside of his glove, Weber punches Kass once with his glove and another without it and he ends up with a cut under his eye. Odd

Who got the cut? I must have missed this.

A good road win: I feel like I've rolled a Yahtzee in 2's
2 PP goals,
2 goals by Kes
2 points for 2 Sedins
2 points for Roy
2 points Hansen
and .......
2 GA for Luongo

A bit of a weak start to 2nd period (but it was more entertaining), but once Garrison scored, they got back on track.
Happy.

Missed it...

With all of the line juggling going on, id like to see the sedins split up for a game. Daniel seems to be a pass first kinda guy now. Maybe we should try him on keslers wing

Raymond-Hank-Burrows
Dank-Kesler-Hansen/Kassian
Higgins-Roy-Kassian/Hansen
Pinizotto-Lapierre-Weise

Kinda seems like we put the team in a blender, but while we're experimenting, it'd be interesting!

Surprisingly fun game to watch. Top 6 Canuck forwards are looking very dangerous. When did Rinne start looking so vulnerable?

If hockey was a 40-minute game the Canucks would be undefeated right now...

Totally agree. It seems that 2nd periods have been a problem all season for them.
I'm not sure what the stats are, but my guess is most goals given up by the Canucks have been in 2nd periods. It just seems that they like attacked on one side of the ice.

Oh well, they won, and there's still more room to improve.

Kesler trolling the Preds again. Burrows and Daniel trolling Weber. Kassian trolling Rinne. Entertaining stuff

If they put up a 2nd period like that against Chi or STL, this game would have been over a long time ago. They need to figure it out in their own end. Soon. Very soon. Only 6 games left.

The Edler-Bieksa pairing has to end. They give up wayyyy to many chances in their own end. The problem is Garrison-Hammer is so good, you can't break them up. So who plays with Edler? Perhaps this is why this disastrous pairing is still together.

Garrison is such a beast. The goals are nice, but the work in his own end is incredible. When he was acquired this summer, I posted he'll be the best d-man Canucks have. Of course, everyone laughed. 41 games in and underlying #'s are ridiculous, best on the back end by a long shot. Not such a stupid prediction after all.

But the true test is within the next 5 games - 4 of them are against actual playoff teams.

Enjoy the Playoffs Canucks Fans,Wish My Team was in the playoffs with ya'll guys

I was just about to say, while watching this game and hearing the announcers say how the preds were officially out of the playoffs it really reminded me of how we should be proud of this team that we've been consistently been blessed with the chance to watch our team play for a cup for the last few years. Way to much complaining going on around here. I LOVE THIS TEAM!!

It's a shame that the preds couldn't make the playoffs, they would have made an easy opponent.

So easy it took the 2010 - 2011 Canucks 6 games to eliminate them in one goal games and two OT games? <_<
