Saad is getting more of the glory in the west because of being with Toews and Kane... but then he's a forward, so he will get more of the glory even if he was producing at half the rate.

Brodin is turning into the type of D-man you build a team around.. at the old age of 19!? Many top D-men don't develop till years later, and this kid is defending against the top players in the league night in and night out.. and is +7.

But the trophy isn't about who'll be better in 5-10+ years.. so as much as I'd like to see Brodin win it, I know it won't go to him.

McLean should be a lock. Bylsma won the Jack Adams before because he got his injury riddled team into the playoffs.

Ovie should take Hart. Crosby isn't nearly as valuable to the Pens as Ovie is to the Caps.

Bobrovsky should get Vezina. Columbus has no business being in the playoff hunt without him.

It's sad when all the CDCer's in this thread are making more logical award choices than NHL coaches.
