Are these guys done like deniro(actor, that would be)? It's easy to be critical with their recent form, but doubts have long been suggested upon their elfish fwd-cast. With the current dead-puck/zombie-mauling & maiming style being in fashion, I fail to see them pulling out of their death-spiral.
Their fans are passionate, but it appears their marketable stars(Subban, Price) were just a pretty mask to front an ugly mug. Bergeron has his hands full. He's gotta' dump 2 or 3 midgets & get bigger/tougher...Problem is, so do about 15-20 OTHER teams. I think gm's league-wide see where this league is goin', hence the exorbitant price for grinders like Clowe.
Lastly, is the Price right? who's "the next contestant" to question this guy's standing? I'm interested to hear opinion on this BC boy... Seems eastern media discuss this bloke in hushed tones, as if some saviour-tender.. But he hasn't yet made a Halak-like statement, has he?
Long-term(3~7 years), I'd say Ottawa & Toronto will leave this team in the dust
Galchenyuk, Tinordi, Gallagher, Collberg, Hudon, Bozon, Beaulieau, Leblanc, Thrower, Ellis, Kristo, Subban, Price, Dumont, Eller, Pacioretty, and 6 picks in the top 90 this year? Please go on.
Also Price is right: http://www.hockeydb....y.php?pid=72046
<--- Those look like solid numbers to me. Price had a 2 or 3 "bad" games this year, which affected his save percentage. Have you watched many games? Because I've watched every game, besides the occasional few, and anoyone with half a functional brain can tell he's the backbone of this team. You can't blame the goalie for defensive breakdowns... Something some people here on CDC don't realize, because they have their heads up their asses. A recent losing streak and suddenly everything is apparently wrong with the team, give your head a shake... Wait for playoffs and the Habs will have a deep run.
Also check your facts before blindly ranting about non sense. The Habs have a deeper prospect pool than both the Leafs and the Sens...
EDIT: I'd also like to add that the Habs have been without Emelin and Diaz during these recent losses. Let's take out Edler and Bieksa, then see how well the Canucks do....
