Named most outstanding player in this year's Frozen Four tournament. Does Edmonton promise them young virgins or something?!!
MJDDawg
LOL! Did you just use virgins and Edmonton in the same sentence? Not sure why but it reminds me of this...
DeNiro
Unlikely to ever be an NHLer, but you never know. Just to give some perspective, Ken Agostino was the best player on the team, and he was a 5th round pick. Not to say that means these undrafted guys won't make it, but the odds are low. Please Call 911
Gee!! Why is everyone so bent over and upset because we didn't sign these top college players? Most of these guys are undrafted for a reason, and will never make an impact! Remember all the hype about the so called "top college prospect" signing of Kellan Lain? Guess what? 10 GP, 0G, 0A, 0PTS, -3. They are undrafted for a reason.

Noheart
I hate to say it But I'm saying it since we didn't sign him. College FA's Does anyone know what the FA stands for? Freally Averated Tanev is like winning the lottery off a free play.

DeNiro
Not bent out of shape just wondering why so many of these young guys are choosing to go there. Apparently there were 15 teams after this guy. Why choose the coldest city in the NHL that has shown the only thing it can do is play bad enough ot pick first at the draft. It's not like he's a candidate to be a big force in protecting the talented players. He's 5'10" and 180. I woudl have thought he would be better off going where they have size and could accommodate his stature.

Hyzer
Every college free agent signing, I always thank GMMG for getting us Tanev.
Boudrias
I heard that the 'wine & cheese' parties they throw on arrival are legendary! Ask Schultz.
MoneypuckOverlord
The only 2 free agents that made a significant impact on their teams, that was signed in the past 5 years, were...... Tyler Bozak Chris Tanev. Other then that, the others have sniffed some NHL games, but failed miserably to hang on to their roster spot. To be honest, I'm not expecting any of these (Recent college signing players) to make a significant impact in the NHL. History is not on their side. Jägermeister
I'd put Cory Conacher on that list
Edlerberry
They need a captain for the future. I don't see any of their top 4 making good captains. Maybe they like his leadership qualities. I don't see him being better than any of the young players they have though.

Guest Gumballthechewy
In time, I think Hall would make a good captain. Definitely not Yakupov though.
