Canucks can clinch a playoff spot if they beat Dallas in any fashion :towel:

6-1 Vancouver

Dank
Kes
Honey Badger
Kassian
Roy baby
Hammer

Eriksson

In my eyes drouin is overrated he can score in the qmjhl but did nothing in last two gold medal games that canada lost. Fox will be better pro than him talk to me in five yrs

Gaudreau has one NHL goal whereas all your "prized" prospects have none.

ryan kesler is going to the chicago blackhawks ...       quote me on it

mad fer it

Yes but what about after the 1st period

well if i were to hazard a guess, i would say he means it'll be 9-0 in the first period alone-- then dallas completely shuts the game down and the team cruises for the rest of the game

It has been confirmed that both teams will have a starting goalie.

Likely Schneider for us tonight, in which I am hoping we clinch so Lou can get some games in before the playoffs start

Apparently Kari LetOneIn in back for Dallas after missing 3 games.

If Roy Baby doesn't at least score a hatty, then the poster beneath me is going to be whipped to death by a cat o nine tails made from the dreads of 9 different white guys who should've stuck to their fauxhawks and college cuts.

BAD MOVE!!!

BAD FING MOVE

HAHAHA ANOTHER INJURED MORON ON OUR TEAM

HE WILL JOIN US IN 2019

Benning will be fired next year. Hope he enjoys screwing around for a few months. I just cant believe this. Another injured BC player. We just got rid of garrison. Seems like the canucks and linden just wanted any BC born player. Doesn't matter if hes good or not. We don't need another Linden to get us to game 7 of the Stanley cup and lose. We need someone to win us a cup.

5 million a year for Vrbata? 6 million for Miller? Kesler for Bonino and 24th instead of 10th pick or one of their top prospects? Garrison for scraps?

ive already lost faith in JB. Ive never EVER had this bad of a feeling about management.

Lets not have any " they had more to play for" BS after the game tonight if we lose..... last night Ducks lost to CBJ and Cogs was asked if that played a part and he said that is the weakest excuse for a loss .. if your in a playoff spot you want to be playing your best going into the playoffs you dont want to be limping in .. all teams have injuries this time of year and all teams have somthing to play for , be it jobs for next year , a push to get into the playoffs or solidify your place in the standings and get on a roll heading into the playoffs.... losing a game and saying the other team "had more to play for" is garbage. Now lets hope the Canucks can help out CBJ by beating one of these teams fighting for those last 2 spots.

I just said he lost the last two games he played and Lui on the other hand won his last two. I said nothing towards either... just stated a fact.

I think Cory played well vs the blues for the record.

I don't get why we keep going with Ebbett as the third line center. We know that's not going to be the line in the playoffs, or at least we better hope it isn't.

Why not put Lapierre there? At least then we know what our legitimate alternative looks like. But AV seems to like to roll with lines until he's absolutely sure it doesn't work anymore.

The lines should be:

Sedin Sedin Kassian
Raymond Kesler Burrows
Lapierre Roy Hansen
Weise Pinizzotto Sestito

Let's finish off the road trip with a win! With Bieksa listed as day-to-day, Vernon Fiddler has to impersonate a different player to crack AV up.

Schneider starts MT @imacVanSun: G Schneider was OK after taking Burrows' shot near collarbone. "Bad ice...That's what the shooters say."

Very well said. These are professionals who get paid millions of dollars. They should always have something to play for, regardless of the circumstances.

As much as I've sympathized for Luongo and the position he's in, I'm glad it's Schneider who is starting tonight because it means the Canucks aren't being wishy-washy anymore. They've picked their starter and they're running with him, even though the starter has lost two straight and the backup has won two straight. The team can't put Luongo in net just because it feels like a good time to put him in. He'll be in when the team needs him.

Another possible thing to look forward to in this game:

Daniel Sedin needs just one point to climb to #2 all time in franchise scoring behind Hank. He's currently tied with Naslund with 756 points, but sits 3rd by virtue of having less goals than Naslund.
