I agree with your lines 100%. First three lines are beauty, last one doesn't need much playing time

lol Nice sig. 4th line is just for a small break and the odd fight anyways, we need someone like Konopka to center it though.

"It's an opportunity, we don't look at it as a last chance... We look at it as an opportunity to do something great. We are going to take it period by period, shift by shift. You just have to be better than the guy across from you... Every guy in this locker room I can say believes we can do this." - Ryan Kesler

when it comes to playoffs i want to see
Lapierre kesler Kassian
that line would be boss and it would be very physical and still have a lot of scoring chances.

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
______ - Kesler - Hansen
Raymond - Roy - Kassian
Sestito - Lapierre - Weise

Hamhuis - Garrison
Edler - Ballard
Alberts - Barker

The vacant spot would have to go to Ebbet for the time being. I think we just have better line depth and balance if Kesler and Roy are separated. The Sedins and Burrows are our most offensively consistent line. I would keep them. And I haven't hated Sestito; he at least doesn't hurt the team and hasn't been a liability.

Until Bieksa and Tanev are back, we're pretty much SOL. I would just load up the top-four. Hamhuis and Garrison are a solid top pair. If Ballard is going to play the right-side anyway, might as well use him. He at least has a pedigree of top-four minutes. Just give them to him. Hopefully the top-four can eat minutes and minimize Alberts/Barker usage.
What is the deal with Mike Gillis, it always seems like he's sweating...

why does everyone want EBBETT to stay in the line up - he was by far the worst player we've had on this team this year....

and now we want him to play on the third line! ? are you kidding me.

Did AV hack your CDC account?

Although it would be more like:

Sedin-Sedin-Kesler
Ebbett-Ebbett-Ebbett
Ebbett-Ebbett-Ebbett
Ebbett-Ebbett-Kassian (degrading him on the 4th line is a better plan than putting him in the minors)

Edler-Bieksa-Hamhuis (because AV loves them so much he can't decide on an actual pair but wants all 3 out there for the entire game)
Barker-Barker
Barker-Rome (smuggles him in and gives him Ballard's jersey so it looks like he is playing Ballard)

AV's Coin (he throws it and it lands on edge, completely screwing his usual sound decision making and he can't find Gillis to tell him what to do as Gillis in the corner in the fetal position rocking back and forth softly whispering, "Cody, Sami, Aaron....why did I get Ballard again?....."

"You don't know this, but Trevor Linden had cracked ribs and torn rib cartilage for the last four games of the 1994 Stanley Cup Final," Cliff Ronning said. "You can't imagine what it's like to hear your captain, in a room down the hall, screaming at the top of his lungs as they injected the needle into his rib cage. Knowing him, he probably thought we couldn't hear. He would then walk into our dressing room like nothing had happened. That was inspirational."

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian.........the Sedins WILL need protection and thanks to Gillis this is all we can do.

Raymond - Roy - Burrows..........I would love to see Roy feed this pair........speedy, shifty, and gutsy

Higgins - Kesler - Hansen.........a line that will physically punish the defensive 2nd pairings.

Booth - Lapierre - Weise..........If Booth and Weise turn up we could find a few goals here.

Hamhuis - Bieksa
Edler - Garrison
Ballard - Tanev/Alberts

I think it is important for defensive pairings to have a steady player with an "unpredictable" player.

With injuries:

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian

Raymond - Roy - Burrows

Schroeder - Kesler - Hansen

Pinizzotto - Lapierre - Weise

Hamhuis - Garrison
Edler - Barker
Ballard - Alberts.

I have tried to use the team when fit as the basis for the team while injured. Something I wish to hell AV would do instead of constantly drawing names out of the hat. What kind of chemistry will we have come playoffs, I wonder?

Our fully healthy lineup should be:

Sedin - Sedin - Burrows
Booth - Kesler - Higgins
Raymond - Roy - Hansen
Kassian - Lapierre - Weise

Edler - Garrison
Hamhuis - Bieksa
Tanev - Alberts/Ballard

But with injuries, we should ice this against Detroit:

Sedin - Sedin - Kassian
Burrows - Kesler - Roy
Hansen - Schroeder - Raymond
Ebbett - Lapierre - Weise

Hamhuis - Garrison
Edler - Alberts
Vandermeer - Ballard

If we have another repeat of the 3rd period in Dallas these will be the lines.

The same lines the Oilers used during the 80s, good thinking.

Ive noticed that everyone has Kassian slotted with the Sedins.

Has the team or coach hinted at this? Or (like me) do you think its inevitable, in spite of AVs stubborness?

No Lu is his man, but because Lu wants to be traded and Gillis gave Cory a new contract AV has to use Schneider.

When healthy we have our healthy team back (minus booth of course) I think we should give Kass another chance with the Sedins. Kass did great with with them, but the Sedins did all right. If they can all click, then they would be deadly, and we would be able to give the rest of the lines some balance and make 3 scoring threat lines.
Sedin Sedin Kassian
Raymond Kesler Burrows
Higgins Roy Hansen
Weise Lappierre Ebbett

In case that doesn't work, I think we should go
Sedin Sedin Burrows
Higgins Kesler Roy
Raymond Schroeder Hansen
Wiese Lappierre Kassian
