Sampras-Agassi was pretty great too. since we're talking individual rivalries. How about auto racing? Formula 1 for instance...Mika Hakkinen vs Michael Schumacher from 1998-2001..neither wanted to give an inch...and then when either of them made the smallest fraction of an error...the other ALWAYS seized the opportunity to pass.
