Fire AV

That's it. I'm done with this guy. The numerous blunders are piling up and are unacceptable.

Gillis gets a T4D offensive talent in Ballard.

AV banishes him to the dark pits of Hell. Ballard's game is now officially fubar.

Gillis drafts a future captain 1C to eventually take over from Henrik.

AV plays him on the third and fourth line even though he is better suited for 2C, call his back problems a bluff, doesn't play him instead of an injured Kesler. Kid wants out.

Gillis turns around and trades Hodgson for "the guy" to play with and protect the Sedins; an old hokey trick that is absolutely needed after having seen the Sedins rag dolled and manhandled by Boston.

AV utilizes him as a plug on the third and fourth line.

Gillis acquires a sorely needed center at the trade deadline; a player who is a 1C on 20-25 teams in the league for 2C duty begins the Sedins in order to shore up secondary scoring.

AV plays him accordingly, but as soon as Diver comes back, Roy finds himself at 3C and now finds himself playing wing.

So much for center depth.

Kesler is the best defensive center in the game today. Yet, after finally having traded for a center who at the very least should be centering the second line, Kesler is again on 2C duty hogging the puck. As for tonight's game, notice Kesler didn't pass the puck for a scoring chance; he was the last Canucks player to touch the before Roy scored.

Rome should never have been playing as much as AV played him.

The constant line changes do nothing for team chemistry.

The lack of timely timeouts to regroup is beyond asinine.

The "process" has allowed the Sedins go in defended when messed around with, the Salo incident was not defended, Keith's elbow had no reply.

Failing to recognize that hos goaltender is having a bad noght and leaving Luongo out to dry, getting shelled when any other coach can recognize such factor and pull the goaltender in favor of the backup has had major repercussions over the years on Luongo and this organization. Goaltenders get pulled. It saves face and stats over a long career.

During the playoffs, no way would any coach leave their goaltender as exposed as AV has let Luongo. Furthermore, the act of pulling Luongo out in favor of Schneider in an unwinable series against L.A. Has led to the demise of te greatest athlete to walk into town.

Schneider is a very good goaltender who went on an amazing streak. That streak is gone and it's time to warm up Luongo up for the playoffs. Is that going to happen?

No.

Center depth we have but is AV going to utilize it accordingly?

No.

Are the Sedins going to get "the guy" on their line in order to be protected during the playoffs?

You guessed it: no.

If this team has an early exit, fire AV. With the talent on this team, there are a handful of coaches that are much better suited for this team and who would get it done.

AV wins games by having son much talent at his disposal, not by being a good coach.

Perhaps he's becoming exposed because Luongo won't be bailing him out any longer.

I think these threads are the worst things about Canuck losses... God I hope they win all their remaining games and sweep their way to the cup so I never have to see another one of these threads.

Are you easily angered?

Do you have strong opinions that are often baseless?

Do you feel as though you're super duper special and that you have some brilliant idea that probably no one else was aware of because no one is as smart as you?

If you said yes to one or more of the above questions, then you too may be qualified to be OP.
