Wolves going to the PP. They're 3/7 on the night so far.

The Monsters bench gets an unsportsmanlike penalty but I don't think it will increase the man advantage for the Wolves.

It's happening again. Now Sterling takes a hooking penalty, just as the Monsters penalty expired. Monsters going to the PP.

The officials are PP happy tonight. Wish they were like this in the NHL :)

So what's up with Jensen?

Sterling gets a 10 minute misconduct, presumably for being mouthy with the refs, so he'll sit in the box for the remainder of the game.

Lol, the commentators messed up again. It's Lake Erie's Luke Walker who received the misconduct, not Sterling. These guys are novices, I swear.

Arneil hasn't been giving him many minutes. He's usually on the 3rd or 4th line and doesn't have many other offensive players to work with. Its not his fault that there are guys ahead of him - its not like he can just swoop in from Sweden and have a spot on the top line given to him. But he's still being misused, and it wouldn't happen if the Canucks were in direct control of the Wolves.

I don't know, he did pretty well in Sweden and in Jr.

Hallelujah this affiliation is almost over.

Gillis on team 1040 today talking about how they're trying to get their new affiliation on the west coast so they can use all the services of the Canucks (guessing it means sleep Dr, nutritionists etc). Hopefully they sign a coach who's really good with young players and development.

Oh yes, I can hardly wait. I mean, you have a 20 year old kid who played against men in the SEL and led his team in goal scoring... I don't think he's being overrated at all. But when you have Haydar, Sterling, Matsumoto, and Gordon in your top 6 (all AHLers) you can't exactly bump one of them down for a kid. Hopefully next year we'll have 2 or so AHL vets in the top 6 instead of 4, I think that'd be more ideal. And I didn't even think about the sleep doctor/nutritionist angle... could very well be another factor in the switch to Peoria.

BTW, the Admirals scored two quick goals to go back up over Charlotte 5-4. Excitement was short lived. 5:08 left in that game.

Hamill pots a shorthanded empty net goal for Milwaukee to make it 6-4. Well, that's that. Milwaukee needed to lose that game.

Well, that settles it I guess. Wolves should be out now, so hopefully we'll be seeing Schroeder, Jensen, Corrado and Blomstrand up with the big club.

So Corrado, Hunt, Vandermeer and Groulx were obviously in, then I assume Matheson and Regner were? So just Corrado again as the prospect?

Couldn't the Wolves still make the playoffs if they beat Milwaukee tonight, and then win their final game against Grand Rapids, if Milwaukee also losses their last game?
