Bring the big Bert back to play 3rd line with Kass and Schroeder or Roy in the middle. Man that line would be scary good

A healthy Mitchell. Definitely Mitchell.

Definitely a healthy Mitchell. Wouldn't mind WCE-prime Bertuzzi either.

Toss up between Ehrhoff and Bertuzzi.

I'm gonna go with Ehrhoff because our defense would be 100% set with him in the lineup.

You mean 100% more inconsistent than it is already. Hoff can't defend, he's all offence.
Ehrhoff was -5 with two assists last night. -5!!!!

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

Yes! Cody scored a goal last night in the 8 - 4 loss to the Rangers. He had 1 pt, was a minus 3, no hits, 1 shot and was 42% on the dot in 19 1/2 minutes of ice time. The first line centre was eliminated from the playoff race but tried really hard!

What about Ehrhoff? 2 assists!!...minus 5, no hits.

Drink your Koolaid.

I'm sure you could find a game where they're big time plusses. But making a case is so much easier when you present such a biased point.
I'd love to have Mitchell back.

Personally, I'd rather my team as whole did well instead of wishing one player well all the time. There are lots of pluses (with one S) to the diminutive centre's game. They were just never going to happen here. How is that biased? Everyone is quick to jump all over Kassian every day on these forums but we must not dis teh Cody? lol

There has been many great players who have played for the Canucks But out of the ones still playing in the nhl which one would you most want to return to play for Vancouver. (Even if we had to fire AV to keep them) I think that hodgson would be a great player to have back especially since he is so young and we could have him for a long time. But if we could only have them for this years playoffs i would want bertuzzi cause hes a playoff player like lapierre.

Bertuzzi a playoff player? He's never been past the second round, and his stats for the playoffs look like this:
GP G A P PIM 80 14 28 42 155

I was a long time Bertuzzi fan and would like to see him win a Cup (particularly to get over Moore), but he's no playoff hero, certainly not now at his age.

Bertuzzi so we quit getting pushed around come playoff time. No way Keith or brown finishes either of those games if Bert was in the lineup! I cant stand watching us get bullied by losers like marchand or bolland. I dont know if its AV pulling the reigns or what but let the big guys loose when that crap is going on with your star players.

I'd like to see Bertuzzi back. It would add an additional element of toughness and Kassian could get mentored by his idol. How great would that be for development?

Bert has 1 yr on contract with wings after this season and cap hit just over 2 mill. What would Gillis give up if he was interested in acquiring Bert?

Would love to have him next yr. but don't think it will be any chance of possibility till the following yr.

Not really. I just think our D could use him now and I like his playoff game better than Erhoffs'.

well, we haven't really lost any players I am desperate to have back..

but if I had to pick, based on the team this year, right now, 4 games before the playoffs... with a crippled defence.

Salo. Without doubt.

There's a lot of plusses (with two S's, as you can spell it either way, thanks though babe) with having Mitchell back too, cause he's a beast.

PS. I like Kassian.
If you hadn't noticed people just like ragging on anyone on the team. I never thought I'd hear "Luongo sucks". That's like saying being happy sucks. It's false. Being happy rocks, and Luongo's an amazing goalie. But in a city where pointing fingers is the norm Luongo's a bad goalie, Kassian's the worst player ever, and the Sedins are awful playoff performers (which they aren't).

Salo. He is truly the one guy that I never understood why we let him go.

Jovo - couldn't afford him with Luongo.
Mitchell - questions around his health after his (think it was year long) concussion.
Grabner - had to choose between him and Raymond, who had a breakthrough 50pts season
Coho - wanted more ice time which we couldn't provide with our line-up
Bertuzzi - had to get out of the city because of the media
Naslund - same as above

Seriously why didn't Gillis offer Salo a decent amount of money? Would be fantastic to still have him.
Oh well, what is done is done. Lets look forward to the future (specifically) clinching a playoff spot tonight and have a good winning run this year ;)

Burnsey We lost Jovo because he was asking too much period. At the time Loungo wasn't making as much back then.
I'll agree about Mitchell, Grabner and Raymond is a split 50/50 Both show potential, both show inconsistency. Coho we will never know the true story behind it. Bertuzzi didn't ask to be traded ,he became an assest to get Loungo. As for Naslund He was no longer worth 6 million dollars. If it really was the media why did he sign with New York. Where they would be just as harsh or worse on a player?

I wouldn't hate having Glass on the 4th line LW either.

I know I know, Fanner Glass. Still he can be a wrecking ball at times and I'd sooner have him than Ebbett in that spot.

He's 37 years old and has played 7 games all year due to a back injury. Apart from nostalgia, I'm sorry I don't see the value.

Just love the Hodgson haters.
What gracious hockey fans and human beings when you despise one of your own.
Gillis disease is more pervasive than expected.
I mean who would want a forward with more goals than any Canuck and would be third in points on this roster behind the Sedins?

One player? A mature puck moving d man is needed.
Paul Reinhart,please
