DeNiro Posted April 22, 2013 Share Posted April 22, 2013 With Minnesota losing it's looking less and less likely we'll be playing them in the first round, unless we somehow manage to get into 2nd. It's likely going to come down either LA, San Jose, or St.Louis All 3 of them have great goaltending, size, and a pretty strong defensive game. San Jose probably has the weakest D, but their offense is still pretty scary. Plus there's history with them. St.Louis would be a scrappy first round match up, and they would probably get alot of powerplays because they play dirty, and the Canucks would get called for responding. LA might be the best match up. We seem to play them well, and the only reason we didn't get by them last year is because we didn't have Daniel Sedin, and Kesler was playing injured. You gotta think with Schneider playing the way he is, and Quick playing the way he is, that we would have the edge in goaltending. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
