Unlike in year's past when the team coasted toward the end of the season, it's good to have playoff intensity games leading into the playoffs. And Corrado didn't look out of place at all. If he keeps playing like this we could have a very affordable and dependable bottom pairing in Tanev-Corrado. I think the reason it made such a loud sound is because it hit the back of the pants or a plastic piece on his pads, and Daniel came off relatively unharmed. The boys were hitting and skating circles around the Hawks, and as I predicted after the Dallas game the calls go your way when you're at home. Even though the Ducks game is "meaningless" now a win would mean the Canucks enter Game 1 on a 9 game home winning streak, which is a big deal after the Nucks got worked at home against the Kings last year. That don't mean the goalie sucked, just means the team played well and this was their best all around 60 minute game all season clearly. Schneider was solid, didn't need to make many tough saves as previous games. You trying to say Canucks didn't play well and needed Schneider to steal the game? Even more sad, he won't answer the bell or confront anyone directly but waits in the weeds for a vulnerable opportunity to cheap shot someone. Lots of video records to prove it.
