The award can be for anything, from the serious to the irrelevant to the disturbing, so nominate any of your fellow members who you think are deserving! I'll start, by proudly presenting the CDC Masterton to Newsflash for extraordinary dedication to the team. Anybody who is familiar with Newsflash's strenuous pre-game ritual knows the amount of heart and soul (and other things) he puts towards the continued success of the Canucks. Master 112 Posted April 23, 2013 Share Posted April 23, 2013 I would like to nominate Scottish7Canuck for the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy. Scottish has been an active contributor on the boards all season and, due to him living in a different time-zone, must constantly fight sleep deprivation in order to watch the Canucks play their games. He has a high standard of posting and always does well to remain respectful in discussion. Never once receiving a warning point, he holds all of the credentials for the award and deserves to be up for nomination. In addition to the aforementioned, I would also like to nominate both BananaMash and Saniel Dedins for the Mark Messier sucks Leadership Award. A liberator, BananaMash has gained a wide following in the ashtrays of CDC and is considered a symbol of peace, prosperity, and innuendo. He has lead many important revolutions on CDC, one on a large scale and over the course of this season. Most users are in agreement that, if CM has a king, it is BananaMash. Saniel Dedins, with his "fight the power" mantra, has commanded a large group of followers in his CDC political quests. His way with words has struck the masses as a sign of greatness and his speeches are both legendary and galvanizing. Saniel's ability as a leader has lead to recent successes as illustrated by his return to CDC, and he shows no signs of slowing down. I would also like to take this time to nominate StealthNuck (SN-Admin) for the CDC General Manager of the Year Award. If CDC has a GM, StealthNuck is it (unless it's Admin2 and SN is actually more of an Assistant GM, I don't really know how it works), and I'm sure he does a very fine job of GMing. Link to comment
