It's also a road game, so rest Daniel, Kesler, and Edler.

I'd rather just played. Kes and Roy need to develop as much chemistry before the playoffs start.

I guess so, pointless game, but it would be good to get a win streak going before the playoffs to build up momentum. Hank won't rest cause his ironman streak, Kesler's been out for so long he's still getting in game shape. Hasn't really practiced a lot so he needs these last couple games. I would say Schneider (injured), maybe Burrows, Hansen, Garrison/ Hamhuis?

On a home game no, they owe it to the paying customers. Since Sat is an away game, most definitely. I would rest any player who wants to or is in any form of discomfort. Special attention to injury prone players like Kesler should be automatic sit outs.

Favorite all time Canuck: Bertuzzi 2002-2003 season
Most clutch all time Canuck: Linden 1994 Stanley Cup Playoffs
Most exciting all time Canuck: Pavel Bure 90's

If guys need/want rest cool. If they want to play, I'm good with that too. Last game vs the oil, who cares, as long as nobody gets hurt.

Sure, why not! Win or lose, we'll still likely finish 3rd in the Western Conference. We already have 5 notable players out right now.

I would actually play Kes, but putting it that way, yeah I would rather not play him. No point in last game, don't wanna risk injury.

Play the bottom 6 more during the game. Rest some guys with nagging injuries.

no because there are 18000 fans who paid money to the game and benching would be unfair to them

No its the first time pretty much all year that all the forwards are healthy they need to work on their chemistry. Build momentum Teams who "rest" players are going to regret it going into playoffs..

Now that we have our callups from Chicago it wouldn't be such a bad idea, maybe if a player would rather rest then give him a rest.

Although I would still play our top guys and just give others more opportunity.

Vancouver is getting at least 2 home games in the playoffs. Resting some of our players for our 18400 fans can enjoy those games and hopefully a lot more has a higher priority for the Canucks than it does to please the crowds in Edmonton. Besides it's not like Edmonton is resting it's players. And it's not like the Sedin's, Kesler, etc. haven't played in Edmonton before.

i'd say give guys like hansen raymond and lapierre the game off. special teams need more tuning and the second line needs all the games they can get together.

I'd rest the twins for sure. Maybe even burr... the second line needs to gel so they should play.

Hamhuis and Eddy 100% rest. These guys need rest period.

AV's time to experiment any new strategies, line combos, power play setups before the real thing begins

I think they should give luongo a day off since he's had such a tough season with his contract and being the back up ? Lol

It's in Edmonton who are on a world class tank job. They don't care about their fans so why should the Canucks.

I see what you're trying to do there... but ill give u a real answer.

No luongo has pproven over a decade that he's his best when he plays 60+ games. He practices longer than most players too. He's a work horse. Feeds off games... he is THE SAGA

what? Those 16000 fans, who are Oiler fans, payed to see their OIlers and not really the Canucks. Also them sitting their players is something they do all the time. They are in that process right now, with Hemsky, Horcoff and Whitney not playing for a while now.

Players Nikolaj Ehlers have been compared too by the fan base of the Vancouver Canucks.

1 Pavel Bure

2 Markus Naslund

3 Nathan Mackkinon

4 Jonathan Drouin.

5 Jonathan Tavares

http://bleacherrepor...d-top-prospects

combine results.  Ehlers 5'11 162 lbs of solid rock.

I'd much rather ice the roster we're going to be using in the playoffs. It's time AV stopped screwing with the lines and actually let players develop some chemistry.

id bring someone up from the minors who wont be playing in the playoffs and have him scrap Eager first shift and then again when they get out of the box. Eager is one of those idiots who would do something stupid and cheap to one of our players

they should sit players who have minor injuries like Higgins, Schneider, bieksa and whoever else is a little banged up but don't simply rest players unless they need it

Let the entire Chicago Wolves team play. Let them call up whoever they call up.
