I turned it back on about 45 minutes later to see the highlight reel of yakupovs 3 goals and was like uh oh. Safe to say it was 6-2 and I tuned in just in time for the 7th. Forward depth wasn't bad - 2 goals scored without the Sedins or Burrows is pretty impressive. Roy scored, Hansen had plenty of chances and Pinizotto and Sestito were on fire. Defensive depth hurt us big time. This game just shows how valuable Hamhuis, Edler and Garrison are to this team. Alberts and Corrado were our best D-men, and Bieksa was our worst blueliner which is concerning. Never seen that many wide-open chances against the Canucks before, but you can't blame a team that just doesn't care anymore. Luongo was brilliant but hung out to dry in this one, doesn't deserve the 7 spot on his record. At least L.A is winning, so a Canucks-Sharks series should be great.
