hudson bay rules
Since TSN gets a pick of the series CBC doesn't take, usually 1 out of the 3 they don't take, it's reasonable to think that if Ottawa wins tonight in regulation and faces the Canadiens in round one, CBC would take BOS/TOR and MTL/OTT, rather than SJS/VAN. This means TSN would get the Canucks! Win tonight, Ottawa!
westvandude
If you package together a TSN 1st round pick and a 3rd rounder, what do you think you can get for it?
Glory Days
CBC and HNIC ftw....TSN lol...next question

Mad Cow Disease
On TSN you can actually hear the arena noise.
Vicky
I'd hope it will be on CBC as I'll be streaming the playoffs. As an aside, anyone suggesting that the "panel" on one station is better than the a$$clowns on the others had better give their head a shake. The vast majority of these munchers flap their lips and make a bunch of noise to keep themselves out of the welfare line. Try and count five "analysts" that you trust and are willing to listen to at any given time. Are they all from the same network? I doubt it, which means that 7-8 of the other guys at your preferred network are feeding you crap. Just sayin'.
lexluthor
I notice this more than anything. Ice and arena sounds are 10x more audible, which is great and adds to the intensity.
billabong
It would be weird to not watch the Canucks playoff games on CBC but I love tsn so I'm all for it
The-Impersonator
HNIC is complete garbage compared to TSN. On TSN you can actually hear the arena noise. On CBC they crank up the commentator volume and all you can hear is Mark Lee breathing heavily every time Yakupov touches the puck.

canucksnihilist
they need a western team for the time zone, so they can show 1 game after the other... they will take TO everywhere in Canada for the first game, except in Quebec. they will take VAN for the 2nd game. BureisBest
I'd prefer Jim Hughson or Chris Cuthbert doing the PxP, but I'll just be happy with the Canucks laying a beating on San Jose regardless of what channel it's on.

van_ws
Prefer TSN... if that is the case, hope for Cuthbert. He is amazing. If the Canucks are on CBC and stuck with Mark Lee, the commentary is going to stink again.
higgyfan
I would be ok with TSN. They have a better overall production than CBC. The rest of Canada couldn't give a rat's a** about Canuck playoffs, so they might as well show the games on sportsnet pacific.
