rb4u
High Canadian ticket prices = higher total league revenue = higher salary cap next year = higher player salaries = owners decrying lower profits = owners increasing ticket prices. The cycle needs to be broken!
The-Impersonator
My season ticket holder price on my playoff tickets is about 1/2 of what is being charged at ticketmaster. I charge whoever I sell to less than ticketmaster price. It's a win win for all.
darkpoet
I'm not alone when I say I can't afford to drop $1,000 on a hockey date. Not everyone in BC is a goddamn marijuana farmer.
RobberLuongo
Loads of Canucks playoff tickets available raising questions about Vancouver market: There’s been a downward-sloping demand curve in Vancouver and there are several factors, including the lockout, a team many view as stale and that team’s renewed commitment this year to play a more defensive style. You know, boring.
darkpoet
pretty much a G for a family of 4 to go to game and get a t shirt and hot dog each. pretty sad
Lychees
The sad thing? Maple Laugh tickets are like minimum $215ish and they sold out immediately, guess they are just too hungry for playoff tickets. But prices are ridiculous. In the regular season I've flown to Phoenix to watch a Canucks game in the lower bowl, got food & parking etc. and it was still cheaper than a lower bowl ticket up here. jovocop55
this... why buy the tickets if you can't go to the game. wait for the schedule and plan accordingly then purchase tickets.. seems about right to me.
Dragonfruits
also craigslist is a lot better and always will be especially on game day i can usually find tickets 25-50 percent off no joke just have to look and be patient
Edler's Mind Tricks
Also, underappreciated here is that with such a large investment, you want to be sure you can go. The schedule isn't out and I am sure there are people who could go if game one was on Wednesday, but not Tuesday.
CupisAll
fans who have had their hearts stomped on by this group two years in a row are probably going to wait a couple of rounds before laying out any money to watch them and even then....... smurf47
So airfare..ticket food and parking in arizona was less than a 250.00 lower bowl ticket? Yeah right.
canucks.brad
i honestly could care less about being there. its true, the canucks ticket wise are hurting. they have advertised so much this season for tickets. i cant count how many times i have heard the ad for canucks.com/tickets
jovocop55
My friend that knows a rep say first time so many season tix holders didn't renew their playoff tickets. Pretty much the renew rate is always over 95%. This yr is around 70%

131313
tickets are not that much cheaper in San Jose. You would still drop 400+ for a pair of tickets unless you want so sit upper level behind the goal.
SNACanuck
Tough economy, uninspired playing and why bother when you can see alot more on the ice watching a HD tv than up in the rafters. And the price, if you asked Sally Struthers you could feed a family in Africa for a year for $150 the same price as a single ticket!
canuck_trevor16
many fan do not believe team will go far so don't bother to buy tickets
Primus099
there's lots of people with more money than they know what to do with in this city, there won't be any empty seats
Tangelos
It's not the prices. We've seen in the past that people are willing to fork out that kind of money but for a high quality product. People want to pay for winners, not losers. The Canucks are a broken product right now. Would you pay $1500 for a brand new laptop that won't even turn on?
