Most of these writers would rather write a negative story, than anything positive. Even if they have to create one by trying to stir up controversy. It's a sad fact that the vast majority of sports reporters know zilch about the game and can't report on anything but the most trivial of topics. Bryz is far from perfect but he gets unfairly criticized. Heck, he treats the media quite well and is an awesome source of quotes. if the Philly media was smart they'd be protecting him as he is a meal ticket.
