jigsaw99
It would be easier to explain who isn't under extreme pressure Ebbitt
a Fool
Hm. I think that there's actually less pressure on the players this year. Vinyo will get a serious look if we go out before the WCF. Maybe MayRay + Roy... and obviously C-Snide will feel the pressure. But Kassian is still too young to judge, and we're never going to trade the Sedins/Kesler/Our top 4 D. So yeah. Nino
It's always the goalie, and this year more then any.
Apples
Huge playa, told Rome he loved him, then sent him packing and hooked up with Ebbett.
Christophe
Sedin's. If they can't perform well this year in the playoffs, this team will have no future until a rebuild, or a resurgence of youth. (Future = cup. Not getting to the second round and being eliminated or whatever.)
samurai
it's never about one person being under more pressure than the others, it's like saying he is solely responsible for the result which is not the case. It's a team game and the whole team needs to be rolling if you are going to go deep. If there is anyone under pressure it's AV and his staff. If the nucks don't make a respectable run which could mean a conference final then his job could be done. A hard fought second round exit would be the minimum I am guessing. A first round out or a second round flop and AV is finished for sure.
Danthecanucksfan
Who needs to play better: Edler Who needs to continue playing the way they are playing: Schneider
-AJ-
Schneider by far. No one else is even close. Sedins are probably 2nd and 3rd, followed by Kesler, Burrows, Edler, and Roy (Because he's the new guy).
-Vintage Canuck-
Definitely the Sedins, sometimes they aren't productive during the start of the Playoffs.
Underachieving Hero of CDC
Sedins then Schneider. I think they'll all do their job though.
wai_lai416
Schneider for sure and Luongo if he is called upon.. coz we all know CDC is going to roast them regardless of how the team plays as usual.
Primus099
Schneider, Sedins, Kesler Kassian to a lesser extent, I think people are expecting him to have a bigger role but not be outstanding

Ryan kesler the beast
Sedins. There older and they won't have to many chances to win the cup and they know that. They dissapear in the playoffs sometimes and I think they put the most pressure on themselves so I think they will come through. After that I say Ebbett... Nahhh jk the guy can play with a baseball bat and AV won't care
DownUndaCanuck
Alex Edler. Single-handedly the biggest reason we beat Chicago and lost to L.A. This guy is a complete game-changer, for the right and wrong reasons. When he's on his game he is probably a top-5 NHL defenceman, when he's at his worst he's killing this team. Signing a big contract, coming off a poor season, this guy better perform the way he did in 2011 or it's lights out for the Canucks and a trade should be imminent. kassians_fist
The goalies and the Sedins imo.
Honky Cat
I would say Kesler....he' is the key centerpiece to all the moving parts....He does it all, most of all he takes a lot of the pressure off of the Sedins...
canucktican
Frank Corrado But on a serious note, it's the Sedins.
spliced
Whoever is in net. This is Vancouver where the goalie pays for the sins of the team. Just look at the final playoff game against the Ducks. Luongo plays absolutely out of his head and somehow gets that crappy team to overtime and all anyone remembers is his one mistake. Game 7 against Boston. Sedins are crap, the team can't score but it's once again all Luongo's fault.
Bodee
Other than the goalie, Sedins are and should be under the scope.
