IIHF - Ice Hockey World Championship 2013 Finland/Sweden

5-1 Canada over Norway, on TSN right now, Dubnyk in net, thinking he will get the rest of the starts. It's weird not seeing certain players for Canada. Usually, RIck Nash and John Taveres are playing on Canada. Still, a solid lineup for Canada, hope they can do well in this tournament as they have not had much success in the past few years.

Luongo's going to go home to Florida, where he has wished he was all season. No way he goes to Europe for a tournament, he's Roberto Freaking Luongo, not some young guy. If they pay him $1M per game he'll go.

I swear it was one of the most entertaining games in recent IIHF history tonite between Finland and Russia! And we won on top of all that! Go Finland!

Notable statistics are that Radulov and Kovalchuk had almost 50% of the ice time in the game and the rest played what was left over. Kovy had 15 minutes of PP time :)

And the icing on the cake was Kovy getting yanked just a few seconds before the final buzzer. It's been that way for Russians for as long as I can remember. Unless they produce and win, they go solo and then it boils over in the final minutes. Almost every time. This time it was just a bit more entertaining all around.
