I thought I'd pull a fun topic off the HFboards and we could discuss it amongst just us Nucks. So who from our current roster has the best hockey smarts? and which player has the worst? Best Hockey IQ : Burrows I know, the Sedins could be right up there as well but Burrows has had a different road to the NHL. What kept him around is just how smart he is, and several players comment on it. He just thinks the game so well, he can succeed in every aspect of it. Who else can be put on any line and make it a threat, give the sedin's exactly what they need, and would be the first forward to play defense if needed as A.V. has said before. Worst IQ: I honestly can't really pick this one, maybe you guys will be better at it than me. Maybe i just don't want to say its Edler cause i've always thought he would turn into something special... maybe thats why he just can't put it all together.... Probably Sostitos. From all the interviews and Play on ice I have witnessed. Be nice to see people give reasons for their choices and actually discuss it The sedin's have very high offensive IQ, but i really think Burrows thinks the whole game all around just a bit better. Nothing against him of course, because I don't expect him to have a high hockey IQ, he's a 4th line enforcer and that's not part of the job requirement.
